Ben Higgins - Bachelor 20 - Discussion

I never thought that Ben was the "perfect" guy that they made him out to be. I find his cigar smoking to be gross and not great role modeling or behavior that I would expect from such a "Christian" man. I guess I find it disturbing because my father died from cancer that was at least partially caused by smoking. I have seen how harmful smoking can be. I never liked being subjected to second-hand smoke and if I were Ben's friends -- I would ask him to take his cigar elsewhere.

I do appreciate all of Ben's charity work and that he cares about making a difference. I admire that. It's strange -- it seems like Ben is very image conscious and likes the attention and validation that comes fame, but I sense some rebellion in him, too (even if he is better at hiding it than some others). I hope he gets a chance to sow his wild oats and have fun without harm to himself or anyone else. I don't get the sense that he is ready for his Stepford wife and marriage yet. This is all JMO.

I don't see much rebellion in him. IMO he's a grown adult, not some f***boy. There's just a few pictures on the internet of him smoking cigars. I don't get the impression that it's something he does often. On the other hand there's numerous pictures and tweets of him doing/promoting charitable things. Just last night he was bartending at a restaurant in Denver and proceeds went to Hurricane Harvey residents in Texas. In terms of role models from this franchise..IMO Ben is one of the best people that comes to mind. I will continue to agree to disagree with others on this forum when it comes to Ben. All JMO.

I think Ben thinks he wants a Stepford wife because it's what he should want in his mind but he was attracted to Kait over Britt. He likes some fire even if he doesn't want to admit it to himself imo.

I don't think Ben knows who he is or what he wants. jmo

RS just posted that Benji is currently "dating" Lindsey Duke, the girl Robby infamously cheated on Amanda with at the Zac Brown Band concert   She also hooked up with Jef two weeks before the concert with Robby  This incestuous, incestuous franchise. Wow, who knew TB's had their own groupies.  That's what she is, a groupie to bach alum.   I would guess she's been passed around more than we know.   Get your shots boys!
