He's been a controversial figure in The Bachelorette this season as he fights for Sophie Monk's heart.

But suitor Jarrod Woodgate could be set to reveal what really goes on when the cameras aren't rolling.

In an interview with OK! magazine on Thursday, the 31-year-old said a tell-all book about his time in the rose-petal strewn mansion could be on the cards.

The vineyard manager confessed to the magazine that he had kept a journal to document all the going-ons during his extended stay - and made sure to get all the gossip while he was there.

'I utilised my time in the house to question the boys. So I knew everything that went on.' Jarrod divulged.

OMG.. Legit crazy dude... it sounds like his journal was more of a hit list with supporting evidence of why that competitor "has to go!"..

"0600 hours.  Sam has returned from the bathroom.  Time spent at said location: 2 minutes 25 seconds.  Suspicious.  Average time spent in bathroom across all contestants is 4 minutes 15 seconds.  Suspect Sam may be ingesting more than his fair share of fibre.  Will go on a reconnaissance at first light to assess vegetable supplies and install spy cameras in bathrooms 2, 4 and 5.  The cameras in bathrooms 1 and 3 are already providing valuable information. I knew James wasn't a natural blonde."

Shame I feel bad for Jarrod. I think he genuinely was there for Sophie and truly cared for her. Even Sophie went on record saying he was genuine and lovely and that he didn't deserve the horrible things said about him. I hope he finds his happily ever after and someone who loves him back too

Awww what a beautiful post for Sophie. It's sad to watch when a F2 truly fell in love, but OTOH like he says it was a good experience that he wouldn't change. What a sweet man.

Posting for Jarrod's thread. Osher's tweets about Jarrod saying it all as well as Sophie herself saying how genuine and lovely he is and Stu even posting saying he is proud to stand with Jarrod. That says a lot imo. Even Sophie's stylist for the show posted to Jarrod that he is awesome. I also noticed that Jarrod liked the posts about Stu and Sophie as a couple and seems very supportive of them. I don't know any other male F2 that has shown as much grace and class like Jarrod has especially given how horrible SM/media has been towards him and yet he is being so supportive of the final couple. Makes me think he just wants Sophie to be happy and it says a lot about his character that he is like that    I feel horrible for him that he got the edit he did He seems like a good guy! Wishing you the best Jarrod
