Isn't it too soon to find out the gender? If she's due in July she's roughly 8-9 weeks?

I don't know when Lauren posted that, but per Google, if she is due July 3rd, she is 12 weeks and 5 days pregnant as of today. You can tell gender by blood test at 9 weeks and by ultrasound typically at 12 weeks.

The most common gender of fraternal twins according to google is boy girl. 50% of the time. The second most common is girl girl.
Boy boy twins are the least common.

I went to a friends wedding a few years ago and in the pew in front of me...mom on one end, dad on the other and in between...3 sets of boy twins!!! I just hope she had a she shed to get away from all that testosterone.

I mean the blue could very well be a sign that they are having two boys but would they know the genders this early on? She's 12 weeks isn't she? I thought it was like 16 weeks before they can tell.

Either she realized she gave it away, or she just chose two pacifiers that happen to be blue now everyone is speculating.

It will be interesting to see which it is!

It is possible they had amnio or CVS (Chorionic Villi Sampling which can be done earlier than amnio) as she had a previous miscarriage. If the miscarriage was genetic based, I could see this happening. They they would conclusively know the sex.

I'm voting the blue pacifier as a mistake made without thinking.

They said on their youtube that they already have names picked out and they can't wait to share the names with us. I'm thinking they already know the gender of the twins. jmo
