My point was that from what I've seen, I don't think Sophie was into Nick, so I don't think she'd be upset about not being F1, and she appears happy post-show because (if she's F2) she knows she'll get a lot of attention and have more opportunities presented to her post-show including shilling, BiP etc.  Doesn't make her any better or any worse than the rest of the cast who IMO all go on the show with similar goals in mind.  That's just the impression I get and just my opinion.  Hence the JMO.

IMO this is very stretchy......... Cass was accused the same thing last month.........
IMO (again) girls like rings.... all kind of rings. cocktail rings, small rings, gold rings, with or without gems. Lets not forget that Thailand is not far away and they are extremely popular to sell jewelry as they are generally 50% cheaper than other countries (source) Also many explanations why a girl would prefer a ring. I wore, for example, the same ring for over 10 years. I loved it and it had no romantic attached.

Anyway. I respect what you think you see in it. I think differently.

This. I completely agree. I am a bit puzzled.
The only gossip we have is an ex co-worker who told us on this forum that she said she was going to be the next sam frost and that gossips within the office was she was F2.
So far this is the only rumor we have right?
And so far, I did not see much of her in the medias outside paps (business meeting) and the bikini photoshoot

I believe Channel 10 already responded in a 'less subtle' way by using The Bachelor Instagram account instead of making a formal statement. They posted 8 lovely photos of Britt's second date with Nick - 4 with the ferry cruise and 4 with the Wildlife Park and evening. To me, they look like a couple in love.

Even if they were back then (which I doubt - barely ever enough time to fall in love on this show IMO) that doesn't mean they are now.  I definitely believe they've split.  That was my gut instinct from pre-season sleuthing so things have come full circle for me.

I have been trying to work out why Britt and her family support Britt and Nick on SM. This is a perplexing question and I have to say I came to the same conclusion as Bobette posted. I can’t help but think when the break-up occurs Britt will be seen to have had her heart ripped in two.

Yup... even if she was "meh" on him in the first place.  I think this is the thing about having an unconventional Lead - he just won't appeal to all the girls.  IMO Vanessa vocalised what a lot of the other girls were feeling on the inside.  

I think that's why the top girls got along so well and no-one appears heartbroken post-show - because IMO they're not.  Even Cass, who I do believe was genuinely infatuated with him, appears to have found closure in the experience.  

Nick's only ever had 2 girlfriends prior to the show.  The chances that one of the 1-2 girls they cast for him (among all the rest who IMO they cast for drama/BiP) was going to be "the one" and vice versa was always going to be very slim, IMO.

If she's not going to be part of a celebrity couple post-show, IMO Britt knows she needs to maximise her SM visibility now and associate herself with Nick while she can, lest she just fade back into obscurity if/when it comes out they've split.

it is all guessing here but lets play a little bit...

An ex co-worker said that Sophie went to the show to become the next Sam Frost and we know that she did/does modeling and I think ads (?) and moved to Sydney recently

We know that Britt took many acting courses here and there and is not shy to tell on SM that she knows quite a few people in the entertainment business

We know Cass was in a finale beauty contest and picked up in a bar

Those girls are like peas in the same pod from day #1. We assume that Britt is F1, Sophie F2 and Cass F4 right?

Like a dozen of contestants before them, once they returned to the real world, even the F2, after a month or so, they are back to normal. I never ever saw any F2 F3 F4 being devastated very long. If so, this contestant went completely incognito again, never to be seen around paps and such.

So we have few options here:

1. Britt is F1, still happy with Nick - probability 5/10 (me being VERY generous because at this point I think 0/10)
2. Britt was F1, dumped shortly after the finale - probability 9/10
3. Britt never or no longer F1 but playing with SM to make sure that public keep their eyes on her and once the real bombshell happen become next Sam Frost, next bachelorette, get all the SM gigs - probability 5/10
4. Sophie is F2, still upset and sad about it - probability 4/10
5. Sophie is F2, playing the rejectee and devastated to gain love from the public and become the next Sam Frost - probability 7/10
6. Cass is F4 and now happy and over Nick and enjoying the waves of popularity of her besties - probability 10/10

Those 3 girls love each other to the point that Britt said that no man will ever break their bond............. yeah, totally not ackward if one of them is happily in love with Nick It seems to me that all 3 girls are looking for fame and glory and use this franchise as much as they can..... Yes they could be all genuine and all that, but really? Call me jaded, but not me for sure!!!

Meanwhile... we have Brooke, far away from Manly full of paps, in Perth who is playing possum... I just put this out there because I am still puzzled why she was so early on ejected from the F1/F2 equation even before episode 2 aired and if she looks like to have the F3 edits. Because she is the first indigenous woman in this show does not make sense to me to be honest...

The funny part is when Nick said that he did this bachelor gig because he was going circle to meet girls in pub/bar (#ouch Cassie!). So we understand by saying that, that Nick is a regular. But how many girls out of 25 are going to bars/pubs: 99.99%?    and those are the same girls, except they picked the prettiest for the show.... nothing wrong to go to bars/pubs, that is pretty much the only place to hook up. But to feed us that the franchise is the right place to find a wifey.... really???

Conclusion: this franchise is a B***... either you come out a hero or a villain.... or completely forgotten. what is worse you think? I am sure none of the top 4 are villains. But none are saints, all of them had an agenda and some still have one in the process... just my opinion. It is just hilarious how Nick is helping those 3 to achieve their goals

I'll add to the general discussion that in recent weeks I've heard rumours first hand from friends of friends at Uni (in Sydney) who have alledgedly slept/received flirtatious DMs from the Badger. One of my best friends told me he has seen the messages. Could be hearsay but it adds to the mounting evidence he is single.
