Thanks to @Linds911 for the head ups! New season starts June 12, at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime. There are four couples again. I will create threads for each of the couples for further sleuthing.

‘Married at First Sight’ Season 9: Meet the North Carolina-Based Cast
Season 9 has arrived! Married at First Sight Opens a New Window. heads to Charlotte, North Carolina, where eight singles will say “I do,” despite never meeting their new spouse ahead of time. Throughout the season, the series will follow the newlyweds’ journey on their honeymoons and through the beginning of married life. At the end of the season, they’ll decide if they want to stay together or file for divorce.

This season’s couples are Gregory Okotie and Deonna McNeill; Matthew Gwynne and Amber Bowles; Elizabeth Bice and Jamie Thompson; and Keith Manley and Iris Caldwell. However, each have different reasons for being on the show.

I always look forward to this show but the editing for drama and deception, as well as some of the newlyweds turns me off. I’m really hoping for a good season. I need good summer entertainment.

Got here late as I had to work with the air conditioner repairman but am here now.

So...Amber is kinda OTP OTT for me and Elizabeth is completely OTP OTT. Should be an interesting season.

@Doats -- I agree. I thought that both Elizabeth and Amber were a little OTT. It should be interesting to see how people get along. I don't always trust the matchmaking process on the show -- I think at least some of the couples are put together for the "train wreck" drama factor and not for love. JMO.
