Dancing With The Stars fans slam Angie Kent for starring in fourth reality show in four years

'What will Angie Kent do after she’s appeared in every single reality TV show ever????' asked one fan.

Another fan appeared to label the 30-year-old as a hypocrite, after reminding the star that she once thought her Bachie boyfriend, Carlin Sterritt was only on the show for fame.

'But what about ex Bachie Angie Kent? She was concerned Carlin was using the show for [his] TV career... But now she's onto her fourth TV franchise GoggleBox, Jungle, Bachelorette and now DWTS.’

Angie’s dwindling popularity comes as the former Bachelorette star appeared to cast doubts on the future of her relationship with Carlin.

Last week, Ange admitted that she’s rather plan her own funeral than her own wedding!

'I'm not big on marriage, but if he wanted to I probably would,' Angie responded to a question asking if wedding bells were on the horizon, adding: 'I never wanted to get married,’ she told The Kyle and Jackie O Show.

'I'm not the sort of person that's like, planned her wedding. I've planned my funeral but I haven't planned my wedding.'

Agreed.

IMO Carlin's latest IG post (which is an old photo so who knows when the last time was they even saw each other) reads like a PR press release trying to justify her weird behaviour on DWTS.

He also admits they "don’t get to spend a great deal of time together". I suspect he knows his time in the sun is drawing to a close. He'll be better off without her IMO - girl seems like hard work.

That reminded me ... living an hour apart in Sydney means you might as well be living in different states. People that live an hour apart here generally don't see each other very often (unless you work together...) because transport/traffic is a shitshow.

eta I realise an hour is an hour anywhere, I grew up in the country. But in the country you drive an hour to go shopping or go to work or see your friends all the time (I certainly did) knowing that the hour trip would always be an hour drive. And it's not a stressful drive, it's chill. In the city that hour can turn into 2 super easy because of bad traffic or train line problems etc plus there's so much to do just in your local area that it feels so unnecessary to go that far. If you move to Sydney to be with someone you move to like, at least the same LGA.

By train it's only 40ish mins into the city but I don't see Angie with her opal card out, ykwim.

Take a bow Angie, great performance, great costume and not over the top make-up. And oh my heart seeing Angie and Carlin together, they are sooo cute. It was great to see Carlin cheering and supporting Angie from the audience.

Carlin's appearance was nothing but PR damage control IMO, as was the sympathetic article by Mamamia blaming anxiety for him not being there last week (she admitted she told him not to go because she didn't want him there, as speculated upthread).

The segment with him in the studio was awkward IMO; she even pulled away when he tried to kiss her. At least it's something new to add to his acting credits I guess. And who could forget her touching Valentine's Day post about... selling makeup. Rolling Eyes

Sportsbet still have Angie second last in the voter rankings behind Dami so she'll be gone in 2 episodes IMO and probably would have gone sooner if she wasn't channel 10 "talent".

Many remain skeptical of their relationship; hopefully they abandon the pretence soon and she hires an actual PA. I almost feel sorry for Carlin for the way she's messing him around.

I think it is great Angie and Carlin defied the media backlash and the Sportsbet odds to still be a couple. IMO I think they are genuine and Carlin's quick, unexpected kiss for Angie was sweet.
Carlin has publicly written how proud he is of Angie for overcoming her anxiety and doing DWTS which is out of her comfort zone. If she was too nervous for him to attend opening night, IMO that's sad, but she did so well last night and hopefully that gives her confidence.
The judges also get to choose who goes and I can't see them getting rid of Angie just yet.

1. The judges are on the Ch 10 payroll and would have no say in who stays and who goes IMO; production decides that and the judges just tweak their comments accordingly; and

2. I still wouldn't class them as a real couple, so they have not defied any odds nor proven anything in my eyes, other than their willingness to fake a relationship for mutual publicity.

While he finally made it to Melbourne to watch Angie Kent sweat it out on the DWTS dancefloor, Carlin Sterritt revealed his seat in the audience is the closest he's been to his Bachelorette girlfriend for a while.

Carlin, 30, made the revelation after Angie, also 30, continued to complain about her fitness on Sunday night, leading fans to question why she's so unfit when she has a personal trainer for a boyfriend.

"I'd have to see Angie to train her," admits Carlin. "We barely get to hang out and when we do she's pooped from dance training."
