I think there are a few ways to effect change on the Bach shows. The biggest is to stop watching the show as their ratings will fall when enough people do this. When I saw the preview for Matt’s season I knew it wasn’t going to be one I’d like (e.g. the dildo and the escort accusation tipped me off it’d be primarily focused on drama) so I tuned out again. I am following online a bit though.

Another thing viewers can do is to contact the show directly and tell them specifically what you don’t like and what you’d prefer to see. And, tell them when they get it right like with Clare & Tayshia’s men. Again, when they get enough people saying the same thing they will listen.

The third I can think of is to contact the advertisers on the show and tell them you will boycott their products until they stop advertising with them. One does have to follow through for it to be effective.

What I really am skeptical of effecting change is what I see on Reddit—the constant complaining and hate directed toward contestants. Mostly, all that does is spread toxicity. jmo

@gabriele Yes a certain number of online fans of the show can be toxic, hateful, and bully themselves towards the contestants. I am not sure if the show is responsible for that as I think it is just how some of those people are in general. They flock together and feed off of that negative energy until someone comes out and counteracts that. Still online itself is a cesspool especially with sites such as Reddit, even IG and Twitter can be the same as well. Easy for people to hide behind the computer and pretend to be anyone.

The show likes the press, good or bad, because people are still discussing the show regardless. You are right it will not hit the show hard or force them to make changes until it hits their bank accounts and ratings.

Either way, Victoria still has no self awareness and it showed in her GMA interview. She is just not s nice person around other women and that was her true self on the show I believe anyway. JMO.

Look who's back. The "I'm not like that" girl, who's last post is just like she was on the show. Every other posts mentions haters, and yet she has a body shaming IG of a man sitting on a couch.
