i'd love to see him tell her outright how he feels because she should already see it it's so obvious and she keeps asking him pfff

Chris H sort of pointed this out recently when he said that Ashley spends a lot of time trying to figure out how JP feels about her. Ali was similarly fearful and CH said the same thing on Ali's show - that she spent a lot of time trying to figure out how Roberto felt about her. CH's statement is a clue - a big one - that suggests that Ashley really does love JP though the full reveal won't come for a while.

So - in addition to her near legend insecurities - Ashley seems to share the same ones that others in her role have felt before her. She keeps asking JP and he keeps telling her that he thinks she knows. I expect at some point he won't make that assumption and will tell her outright.

IA. Right now, Ashley is more concerned about confirming what JP feels for her than she is about exploring what she feels for him, and that's not the case with any of the other remaining bachelors, from what we've seen. Could it be that she already knows what she feels for him, but wants to make sure it's reciprocated?

I think this situation describes not only how Ali felt about Roberto, but how Brad felt about Emily. That's a huge clue.

Bilolo, If Ben "pours his heart out" to her on his next date, it will be interesting to see what her reaction is, unbridled joy or slightly uncomfortable happiness.

I can't wait for JP to tell Ash how he feels about her for real! I can see it totally going down like Roberto did it. He will be very shy and not want to put it out there in front of the cameras but it will be sweet and so believable that even if he fumbles over his words she will have tears in her eyes and fall all over him. :27:

I hope he doesnt tell her. I hope she is forced to make a leap of faith without knowing absolutely for sure there is a safety net below her. We know that JP will be there to catch her, but she needs to believe it also.

I think you're right and Ben will tell her first. JP has it written all over his face and his actions but he admits he gets "shy" and I think he has a harder time saying it in words. And to be fair, any girl needs to actually hear it from time to time! (though I have to say, what I wouldn't give for a man who looks at me like that all the time... I'd be willing to cut him some slack on the verbal shyness!) But I'm sure eventually he gets over his shyness hurdle and then all will be back on track.

But if Ben does tell her first, it will fit right into the storyline, to show the doubt about JP and to make it seem like a closer race for the F1 than it actually is.

JP may be one of those people who believes that words are cheap and it's actions that really count. Maybe that's why he hasn't said it outright yet - he'd rather show love than talk about it. That sort of fits a Bentley = Evil and JP = Good theme. Bentley was nothing but hollow words. JP is nothing but meaningful actions.

It reminds me of that scene where they were kissing in the rain and he trys to pick her up and falls. She just throws her head back laughing and he didn't drop her. She didn't blink. Of course she was already so close to the ground maybe she didn't care. giggling

I think that scene was left in for a reason. Maybe its the leap of faith? Subconsciously she already knows.

You mean no ILY until FRC? I can't imagine that. I'm sure he'll tell her exactly how he feels way before FRC time, she'll probably feel it by HTD, get verbal confirmation by FD, with an 'ILY and I'm not leaving' during their LCD. It's not only standard for this show but I can't see him keeping her on edge if he really falls in love, I think he'd want her to know and feel secure in his feelings for her. In fact, the way he looks at her now when she questions his feelings is like 'what, are you crazy?' It's like he can't believe she doesn't get it yet, which is why he hasn't told her outright.
