Courtney Robertson & Humberto Preciado - Bachelor 16 - Discussion

Total opposite for me. Never could stand Courtney but tried as long as she was good to Ben. That's all out the window because I feel that I was right all along. I'm definitely on Ben's side. :Nod:

Never a fan of either. Thought they deserved one another.

Ben was a boring tool who got pi**ed at the drop of a hat if things didn't go his way...see his proposal to Ash and him telling Emily to tread lightly. He was in it to promote his winery and if he got a piece of a** along the way, all the better.

Courtney was nasty and condecending to the other women and seemed to feel she was better than everyone else. However, at least she was never boring.

His winery got the advertising he was after and I'm sure her modelling career didn't suffer either. They hooked up for a while but they was no way they would get married. She's get bored and went looking for greener pastures. I doubt he'll be starved for attention either.

Don't wish them ill. They both need to grow up. I hope they find what they're looking for and don't try to outdo one another in the media in a giant pi**ing contest of look I'm doing better then you.

Now Alana, did you ever like Ben, be honest...LOL. However, I can't help but think what all the talk would be if this were Ash on the date and JP the recent fiance.

I'm pretty sure there was never any proof that those were actual dates/hookups. RS had been shouting "Ben is a manwh*re" all throughout before and during his season. And, when those photos came out, I'm SURE if there had been actual cheating, RS would have known (just like about Emily and Matt Leinart, Ed and his girls, Jef and his girl, Brad and his ex). The fact that RS and the girls never came out to say those were hookups make me think that there were just photos taken at JUST the right time to make it appear as something happened.

I also don't believe that Ben and Courtney ever broke up during their relationship during filming - I think it was exaggerated to make the ATFR interesting and to redeem Ben.

Not really. I definitely think Ben patted her ass (which he said he does with friends), but I don't think any kissing took place. That picture was taking at an angle that made it look it was, when it could have been just leaning in. Again, if anyone had come out and said it was true - Ben, Courtney, the girls, etc. - I would have believed it. Arie and Courtney's pictures (multiple) are much harder to argue against.

Having said all that, I definitely think that Courtney is behind the pics going public (like the wedding pictures).Before anyone had any idea that she went on a date with Arie, she posted a picture of two wine glasses. She obviously wants people to keep talking about her. I don't *think* Arie meant for it to become public knowledge so soon.

Arie is just as guilty with his fame hoeing. He too went swimming in the incestuous Bach Nation pool for dating material. I don't buy the 'they were busted' line of thinking. These two are just trying to stay relevant. She's a so-so model, he's an even more mediocre driver.

Yeah....I hate to say it, b/c I did like Arie (even though I did believe everything that RS and his ex said about him), but once these contestants get in the spotlight, they have a really hard time giving it up. They would rather be talked about and hated than not.

ETA: I'm sure this is nothing more than a fling - they are obviously not going to move for each other, and we've already established that Courtney can't do long distance relationships. And, to have your ex-fiance find out via TMZ and RS aout a fling is just disrespectful, IMHO.

JMO I wish every contestant who goes on this show love and happiness.
