I don't think there is a lot of affection between the two couples. I think Des was offended when in Des's finale airing Sean said if Cat left he would have left, then Des said afterward that she didn't want to handle things the way Sean did.

I think they will go and have fun, but if it were televised, I don't think Des and Chris would be there.

I wish we got to see more of the fun Chris.  I have been a big fan of his all along.

Having watched the spreecast again, and having listened to all the bachelors from Des season or bachelorettes from Sean season, I think they re all come out better than they went it.They all agree that after watching the season, they recognize that the one picked was the best fit than they were, Michael G, Drew, Zack W, and even Brooks all said that.

So, just like Des said, they are a family, and they have an understanding of the process, there is no hard feeling btw them. For us, this might be weird, but I think this is one of those situations that you can never get the full understanding unless you lived it or went through it yourself. Ex Des and Chris hanging out with Zack W and his girl; Des teeting Juan Pablo asking him to double date with him and his chosen one, and she added, totally normal #bachelor.

As far as what Sean said at the finale, I don't think Des is one to hold a grudge, she is fine with it. Everyone handles things differently, and Des handled it like a champion, like a true christian would, " never, never quit before the finishing line regardless of the obstacle." She found her match! Praise be to God who is never late, but promises to reward us "if" we do not faint.

Here is one of my favorite poem when quitting looks like an option.
