Married At First Sight - Season 2 - Ryan Ranellone and Jaclyn Methuen - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

Has anyone seen the post on the shows FB page for Sunday/Yesterday? It's of Ryan R. and Jac. The captions says doing it married style. ?????

I saw the "Married Style" post. I am pretty sure that was taken on their honeymoon when they played golf. Same outfits and they appear to be in a Golf Cart. (been lurking for a while, first post)

Thank you. Watcheronwall. Only caught a quick look at the page and thought hmmmm.

Nothing really happens when a man is not attracted to a woman.  In season 1 Doug and Courtney's husband felt attraction toward's their MAFS brides and the chemistry and affection just built on it each day.   A woman can have feelings for  a man she's not attracted in the beginning if they were given lots of attention, understanding, affection, material gifts etc. IMHO


Ryan R is the Chris Soules Type kind of guy.  They behave badly when "forced" to be with a woman they are not attracted to.  I love Jaclyn. She along with Davina and Jessica got the raw end of the deal because attraction was not there or died swiftly after the men got to know them.  It didn't help too that the men were not vetted enough.  Unwilling men who turn limp at the sight of their brides will be the death of this show.

Whatever happens I can imagine the ratings for both of the 6th month reunions. They'll probably off the charts.

Is it sad that I still have hopes for this couple? I mean, I look at my husband's dorky old photos and remember the times in the beginning when he was less than a perfect guy and can't help but hope Ryan gets his head out of his arse in time to realize Jaclyn is a quality girl. #wishfulthinking

I've really admired Jaclyn for her maturity, communication skills, introspection and willingness to take feedback without getting defensive. IMO, she had behaved impeccably during her six-week experiment, at least during the portions that have aired. As a result, she gained many fans who got really invested in her relationship with Ryan R.

It's disappointing and disheartening to see her get mired in all the mud slings now. I really have to wonder about this "women supporting women" influence on J&RR's relationship/marriage. I support anybody, men or women, who exhibits the characters, attitudes and behaviors that I want to embrace. I can clearly imagine how Jessica would feel about all these, and I feel genuinely sorry for her experience. Plus, it's very clear how Davina feels about this experiment based on her SM presence. However, could "women supporting women" and bonding over their shared negative experiences have contributed toward J&RR's relationship? Did Jaclyn also start noticing the red flags from Ryan R that she was perhaps willing to overlook or work through before? Did it have an influence on her level of commitment toward her own marriage based on other two's experiences? It's really commendable of her to support her new friends in time of their suffering and hardship. However, I can't help but speculate what it could have been like if Jaclyn didn't have any contacts with the other 2 couples and form such close bond with two other women during this 6-month period (quarantined from one another? ). I really think that this relationship could have been saved.

I tend to think that all or most of the "insider" comments are trending toward true. If they are, RR had no interest in Jaclyn and was not even around. Her attitude and comments about how she could not trust him, or was not sure she could trust him sound to me like a support of the rumors. If RR was indeed recruited for the show from a dating sight or Facebook this was doomed before it started. All along I got huge "failure to launch" vibes from RR. He just seems to want to live in mommy's basement. And the real estate job? Well no offence to real Realtors but just getting a license means you can call yourself a Realtor. It does not mean you actually sell anything. And I know several people who have licenses and have never closed a house.

Something that struck me odd with Ryan R. was when he said he saved all of his real estate checks. Shows that he did mooch off his mom. And from searching, he doesn't actually SELL much.
