I think he looks like an adult son with his mother. I still recall the way he needed to emotionally lean on Mary during filming last year.  (Great that he could, but still emotions run amuck). 
This is an entirely different vibe. I like it a lot. 2 minds in sync.  Like they just get each other.,, and he has said, she is the person that knows him best. 

Does anyone know if the church behind them is in Chicago or Milwakee?

What impresses me most about this pic is how different Mary looks compared to when she appeared in the last epi of last season.

Here we see the angst of a loving mom helpless on the rim at the pit of her first born son's despair.

This latest pic of mother & son shows her relaxed and lovely in soft pastels.  No hint of stress - an ordinary day. IMO whatever Nick & Kaitlyn experienced, Nick's retelling of it to Mary does not appear to have unsettled her in any way. She looks like a mom contently spending time with her boy.

nr I think you're right on the money with your speculation! This is the second round for the Viall family. They may agree or not agree with his decisions, but one thing is clear, IMO they will always support him.

So since we don't know what happens and can just speculate, If he is not F1 and is F2 AGAIN (or even F3) don't you think he is prime Bachelor material?  Two seasons, everyone knows him, and heartbroken twice?

I'm rooting for Nick even if he isn't who RS spoils as the F1. They kept Chris under wraps during Des's season. They could do the same thing with Nick

If he is not F1 I myself do not want him to be the bachelor or on BIP . I think twice is enough for the viewers and Nick . I am sure he can find love outside the Bach world.
