CH must have said um "you know" 150 times in that interview! Painful to read.

When he doesn't have a script he is always overusing "you know". Perhaps he needs time to think about what to say, not to give anything away and still talk in "riddles".

He sounds like a politician dodging all the questions and bs'ing his way around.

Who does he think he is kidding saying several other guys were in the running. Or that Kaitlyn was close to keeping Ben. Yeah right!! Not buying what you are selling CH.

Such utter nonsense that the other guys were in the running for F1.
Only running they were doing was being run off the show or wanting to run away themselves or in the running for next Bachelor.

It seems like they are really trying to support that tabloid rumor of Ben being the original F2, but Kaitlyn was forced to bring Nick to F2 for drama. I wonder if any of this is being fed to Nick to make him feel angrier and more lied to for the ATFR.

I don't believe it all - Kaitlyn even said that her relationship with Ben lacked passion and intensity. Um, I'm pretty sure those are synonyms for "sexual chemistry" and "drama", which are probably the most important aspects of a relationship to Kaitlyn so I doubt she ever seriously considered Ben.

I don't think for a second that she had more of a thing with Ben, but I can totally get on board with the idea that she wanted to bring him to f2 but wasn't allowed.

This is Kaitlyn we're talking about so I won't be surprised if she didn't know what she wanted and was just following wherever her desires were leading her, kissing all the guys and telling them she was in love with them.

Living "in the moment" and all that...

I would agree, but her VO or ITM of 'I had to take it as far as I did to decide'.  I know that may be out of context but it does make me wonder.  My preference was certainly not Nick F2 again.  To be honest it makes me angry w tptb, who supposedly are friendly w him off season would use him again just for ratings.  I know I know I shouldn't even think they would be decent as they never have been...

Did anyone ever find out if Nick was part of storyboard pre season?  Being paid? Though Sharleen said no.  B/C they certainly haven't done a Redemption arc.

And she still let Nick propose? According to the Daily Mail according to US instead of stopping him, she let him continue in his proposal after he got emotional.

Yeah I know, TPTB made her do it!
