The Bachelor 20 - Ben Higgins - F1 to F4 - *Sleuthing - Spoilers* - #2

They do this every season to create buzz for the show and Ben saying it on the live show he just agreed because that is what tptb wanted so he goes along with it he looked very uncomfortable that he was lying to some extent jmo

Given Ben's nature, his faith, and the way he treats the women, I think that he feels love for several women by the end of this season, most likely his F3 but maybe even his F5. Even if not in love, he may develop a high degree of care and concern--a love--for them. It makes sense then that he'd feel love for the woman who meets his parents, even if he decides to say goodbye.

Since last week, I've been mulling around JoJo, particularly the path that gets her from IMO a formulaic date to F2. At this point, their interactions feel more produced than authentic unlike Lauren and Ben's. There is still plenty of season and situations that could capsize Ben-Ren; at this point, though, I'd have to see some pretty incredible relationship building between JoJo and Ben to believe that he chooses anyone over Lauren.

Unlike Brooks and Frank, Lauren is genuinely into Ben as much as he wants her. The season finally became fun!

She told him she lives in Dallas and flip houses on episode 1 with that picture game.

JoJo lives in Dallas. She is my son's landlord. She owns the house he and his friends live in in Waco and I send his rent check to her each month in Dallas!

There's going to have to be some obstacles for LaurBen on the horizon, otherwise this season will be so dull offering this pairing up on a silver platter week after week.

Of course there will be obstacles. This is Fleiss, after all. I actually like to see a love story for a change so I wouldn't find it boring at all.

I think the 'Ben fell for 2 women' is the angst and obstacle. Who did he pick in the end?!? Did he do a switcheroo?!

There is that one regarding Ben feeling that he is unlovable...

Veg, I agree with every word you wrote. I know there will be speed bumps ahead for these two, or at least feigned ones for the audience, but I'm going to have to see Ben as into Jojo as he is Lauren for me to believe he chooses anyone other that she at the end. I want Ben to be happy...I think either woman could make him happy. I like them both, but I have an inkling he just feels more deeply for Lauren.
