I think it's almost like a possible option that lead cast are "offered" a possible contract for DWTS.
I know Emily was and then, I have forgotten the details--either she had it pulled or it was pulled. I have heard this about other cast, too.
Then we hear this supposed situation with Kaitlyn--which personally I do not think it had any more substance than a carrot being shown to a horse in order to get the horse to move.
Supposedly, Ben and JoJo?
So I am thinking it is simply one of the options being presented to the lead--should all things go in your favor this is what can happen.
It happens for some leads and doesn't for others due to network/show choice or casts.

MF is every bit as petty as Kaitlyn is.. maybe even more. However...He is in a position of enormous power and Kaitlyn is unable to grasp that fact. She may as well kiss goodbye any appearances on ABC.

^ Exactly. So even after her contract expires, he could still prevent her from being on DWTS, because he essentially works at/for ABC.

I think a lot comes down to networking/who you know.
On one hand we have MF who has been around and in Hollywood a long time. He can offer up his experience with K and what went down
On the other hand we have K. She is good for 27 days sober.

I wish she would just disappear. After spoiling her own season, it was only fair to deny her DWTS, IMO. And who wants to work with someone who starts whining and complaining as soon as things don't go their way? Just STFU Kaitlyn, you're old news. All JMO.

Can we just separate w/e negative feelings we might have about Kaitlyn for the moment and just enjoy this from a purely enterainment standpoint? I honestly CANNOT EVEN JMO.
