Wow, what a clickbait!
The headline doesn’t represent the article, and the article is not really reflecting the sarcastic and lighthearted banter on the podcast.
 
Funny that in another segment of the same podcast, both Dean and Jared are dragging the tabloids for doing this.
I imagine that entertainment “journalism” these days is just having a bunch of underpaid interns who listen to podcasts all day, trying to find something to make up a story around.

It's annoying to me to see headlines pushing for engagements, then once engaged pushing for a wedding date, pushing to have children. How about mind your own business!

If any of the above happens, we'll hear about it, but until then it's no one's business imo.

I find that the entertainment sites are being lazy -- they make up entire stories from people's instagram/social media posts, too. They don't feel the need to actually try and interview people anymore. All JMO.

So sorry for Dean and Caelynn's loss.

Pappy was a sweetie. I'm sorry for their loss.

They surely loved that little dog. I remember they rescued him and he had his challenges. I do believe they gave him the best years of his life. RIP little pappy.

Pappy had had health issues for quite some time, with seizures and apparently also cancer. Dean said not so long ago that they didn’t expect him to live much longer.
 
Still, it’s so sad that he is gone. He was always such a ray of sunshine, and he came into their life at a time when they needed just that, shortly after Dean’s accident.

This is heartbreaking to read. Anyone who lost a beloved pet knows what they are going through. I'm so glad they gave him the best life in his remaining years. Pappy, You have lots of friends over the rainbow bridge. RIP little guy.

Dean talked a bit about Pappy on his podcast. He said putting him down was one of the hardest things he has ever done. He and Caelynn spent their nights last week at hotels because they can’t stand the empty house.
They will adopt another senior dog though, or maybe even two so that when one goes, they will still have one left to get them through.
