That was too bad although congrats to the Florida Panthers for winning their first cup!
I was out last night so missed the first 2 periods but caught the 3rd. It felt like Florida came alive and Edmonton was tired. We were thinking that their best line with Connor McDavid were overused and didn't have any gas left by the end. That's on the coach although coming back from 0-3 has got to be hard to maintain and Connor didn't have any points in the last 2 games. In any case. Edmonton did great getting it to a game 7 and congrats to Connor McDavid for winning the Conn Smythe Trophy!

It's the NHL draft weekend. It's always so enjoyable watching the family when their son is picked.

I don't know how in this world one deals with this horrific grief. Johnny was an NHL hockey player for the Columbus Blue Jackets. He and his brother were killed by a drunk driver while riding their bikes on the weekend of their sisters wedding.
Sending prayers to their family friends teammates to somehow get them through this.

Johnny Gaudreau, who starred over eight seasons with the Calgary Flames before joining the Columbus Blue Jackets, was killed Thursday night when he was hit by a car while riding a bicycle in his home state of New Jersey. He was 31.
New Jersey State Police said Gaudreau was one of two cyclists struck and killed by a car in Salem County, New Jersey. Gaudreau's younger brother, Matthew, 29, was the other victim in the crash, police confirmed.
The Carneys Point, New Jersey, natives were in the area for their sister Katie's wedding scheduled for Friday in Philadelphia.

@GuardianAngel I had seen that. How horrible. So sad for his family and teammates.

How heartbreaking for everyone but especially their family. I didn't see if his brother had kids but so sad that Johnny's kids will grow up without their dad. I also feel for their sister who should have been celebrating her wedding with all her family.
On another note, that guy who killed them had drank several beers but was also drinking in the car. I hope he gets a max sentence for what he did.

@GuardianAngel This is so, so sad and so, so infuriating. Passing on the right - who does that except an a**hole? And his sister had to postpone her wedding due to their passing. Both so young and so full of promise.
Been watching this crap show like forever
