Someone kindly posted on another thread that next week's episode is on Tuesday, 9/6. Then there's an episode on Tuesday, 9/13 (second FSD) and then the Finale on 9/20. Seems Monday Night Football is pushing it to Tuesdays in September.

I think the Oktoberfest/Spencer posts are odd if Erich is F1. But I wouldn't put it past Spencer to post incorrect info. And if Spencer is in grad school, how does he get that much time off in September/October?

Futon Critic is also pretty accurate about this stuff.

I heard that the finale is being pushed up to September 13. Maybe they want a week in between the finale and the start of BIP.

Yes this is odd to me. There are a lot of post filming things that are really making me pause at the Gabby F1. IMHO

Some people have speculated that they've changed the schedule because Gabby and Rachel might be doing Dancing with the Stars, and it starts on September 19. Probably just a rumour though.

@sbolduc. Luvstx mentioned above that Spencer is in school.  He’s getting his MBA at Univ of Chicago.  School starts there on September 27th so it’s possible they could squeeze in both Germany and Portugal by the 27th but that would be tight.  But they also have evening, weekend and executive mba programs so it’s possible he’s in one of those, unless we know for sure that he’s in the full time program.  

His LinkedIn shows him as still working so maybe he’s doing the weekend program, which might not start until 10/1?

Could they be adding an episode because something happened post filming? Or maybe they want want to push up BIP?

@suzq I think it’s possible that people are thinking it ends on the 13th because we had been led to believe by that bustle article that there were three more episodes after MTA. If that’s still true the 13th could be the final episode. 

But I was thinking about the number of hours left this season. In a normal season we would have at most, 5 hours of TV left.  2 hours for 3FS then 3 hours for 2MTP+2LCD+1FRC+ATFR.  If there are only 3 episodes left that means only 2 more hours for twice as many segments. That would mean that this season, we have at most 7 hours of TV left for 16 segments

So if we would have 5 hours for one bachelorette, there would be at most 10 hours for 2.  But if there’s only 3 episodes left that would mean that we are getting 3 less hours for all of these important segments.  I know we’ve been getting far fewer hours this season, but something about three less hours for so many segments feels off to me.

Another thing that has me wondering is that I would think ad revenue is greater in September than in August, so I could see the show wanting four episodes in September. If that’s the case, MTP and LCDs could be on the 13th and FRCs and ATFR could be in the 20th.

ETA: Press release for next weeks episodes from the resort, confirming episodes on Monday and Tuesday.  Guessing since they identify what restaurants will be featured next week, and a bonfire, that they will issue another release (or 2, depending on how many episodes are left) after next week’s episode.

@mbl  thanks!  I just saw that on Reddit and posted on the episode thread.  I'd be happy to have back to back FS vs waiting 8 days.  At this point, I feel confused as there have been a number of changes to our "normal" because of the late start.

Well apparently the Oktober fest thing is an inside joke between Gabby's guys. It looks like something they discussed doing while they were in Belgium.
