I feel the same ElonM. I am actually scared by how much this season and the Nick love is gonna take over my life , and believe it or not I do have a rather full life already. Scaaarrrrred, but delighted as it is all worth it if he found her AT LAST and was kind enough to do so on national television. Feel emotional when he looks happy and want it for him so bad , I fell for him during the Andi season so it feels like forever since we saw him properly happy. I love what I see of Vanessa and praying that she really is the one, and will be just as amazing as he is.
I don't want to sully this heartfelt post with just what I thought of those two orange and hotpanted fools who must have run out of pocket money, hitching a ride onto Nick's season to do some classless self promotion (yuck de la yuck). I think Jubilee would be a great choice but they will likely pick from this season as it will be current. Oh- getting so excited to watch Nick soon, so looking forward to being able to watch without fear of him losing the girl this time.

I admit to being a hope-full romantic and I openly embrace that. When you meet them at last that epic love that was impossible to find becomes the easiest thing to find. I am writing this because Love matters, people matter and it matters to me that behind a 'reality' show there is real happiness at stake. Here's to Nick and to the one for him.

Ukglasgowkiiss your post above really makes me smile and maintain hope for Nick and also for all of us including myself still looking in life for the "one." I sometimes sit here wondering for myself just when the heck Mr Right and I will meet. I am partially to blame in part for being socially lazy as far as the dating scene goes and making attempts to meet men but then again maybe there is a reason for that and my time will come!

Thanks MonicaJM & everyone else who commented Thankyou for all your kind appreciation guys. I suddenly got an honesty flash of why I am so interested in all this stuff and why I truly want Nick to find happiness at the end of the day. It goes over & above wanting entertainment or escapism in watching the show- which can be fun of course- just really want the guy to get the lasting love he has been searching for.
MonicaJM please fear not- I truly believe your time will come. I was in several long term relationships before finding myself single at aged 34- first time I had been alone since I was at college. It was terrifying to be out on the market again but I sort of embraced the rock n roll of it & went out all the time, met new people & spent some time with some 'wrong uns' until I gradually felt more confident being single. Sometimes I was a big mess but I kept going, became a dj, joined an indie choir, hung with cool friends and actually met my husband through knowing friends in cool bands who played a show run by 'my person'.
The limos are waiting and so are my 'Nick Finds The One' candles. I have my first candle ready & not afraid to use it on Thursday.
Love is gold.

Obviously, not everyone likes him, that's impossible. My point is if the general audience opinion of him has been swayed by editing, what about those who lived with him and saw what he was, and liked what they saw?

I do not believe he was purposely reserved to be likable on BIP. I have stalked that boy since 1.0, and the Nick I see today is the Nick I saw at the beginning. Aside from the trying to think before saying everything that pops into his head (aka maturity), he is the same guy.
He will make a lot of mistakes on his season, I expect that.
Why? Because he won't act his way through! My hope is that at the end of the day, he finds what he is looking for....and world peace.

Could not agree more. I also am bracing myself for him to make some mistakes and for him being a bit shy & awkward at times, which imo he can be despite the reputation. Part of his charm for me, but he always keeps it honest and interesting as he is deeper than most of the previous bachelors imo. Also looking forward to seeing all the facets of his personality brough out by different women there. But bracing myself that I won't see anyone as being good enough for him, but I'll get over it. Lighting those candles right now for Nick to find his person.
