Thanks Ash for the link. If we were to go back to all the other breakups CH says the same thing even though the sleuthers here beg to differ.

He states he was candid with her because he wanted to know, IMO he was candid in order to get whatever they could out of her.

It was brutal and she's heartbroken, I can hear it now, "we'll take a break so Andi could compose herself, we'll be right back".

I just hope this isn't going to be a sit down where she's out of control trying to garner sympathy votes.

But why not spend that holiday with the family that going to church means something to? This is on Josh too. I think he should have stood up for what was important to him. There is nothing wrong with not being into church, but it does mean something to Josh and family, so it would have been a really awesome gesture to go spend Christmas Eve or morning with them and go to mass.

With every new relationship there are compromises. My sons decided to do spend time with us every other year at the holidays. While I miss them I understand that they have to find their way and that doesn't always mean being with family. Who knows why they chose to do the holidays the way they did.

Well we are just operating on what they posted on SM. We don't know if there were other logistics involved. But I do know Andi was willing to give in. In an interview she said that she gave in more to Josh than ever before. So that tells me she was open to compromise. i also recall for simple things like watching a show on TV they divided their time between sports and some other show Andi wanted to watch. So I do think there was compromise on both ends. If what the recent article says is true we'd possibly get a lot more insight on this relationship.

Aaron was unable to be there because of his job. There is a huge difference between a family that attends church that is going to what for most is the most important church mass or service of the year versus hanging out at a Vegas casino.

I, too like MEandI, am jewish. To compare the way I might celebrate Christmas with my family can not compare to the way someone who actually is the religion would embrace the holiday.

I can not fathom a less secular or sincere way of celebrating Christmas than cavorting in a casino. I can just imagine the cocktail waitresses in their skimpy outfits. I wonder if they had chinese food on Christmas eve. Embarressed!

Just want to comment that Christmas in Las Vegas is spectacular. Everyplace, the streets, the hotels, the casinos, the stores are beautifully decorated... And some hotels like the Bellagio are truly breathtaking. You don't go to Las Vegas if you want to forget about Christmas. Maybe Josh just wanted to experience it one time.

In defense of Andi's family. The only time she saw her sister and brother in law were those few days in Las Vegas. Andi and Josh spent the weekend before Christmas in Tampa with the Murrays and the weekend after Christmas with the Murrays in Kansas City. They spent the majority of the Christmas holidays with the Murray family. That at least is my memory. Why does a break up have to be anyone's fault. Sometimes the relationship is not right. No blame in that.

We also learned on the red carpet that Josh said when they left Vegas they went back to Tampa. Who are we to judge how they should have handled their time for the holidays. At least they tried to spend time with both families and that is a good thing.

Also none of us know how they actually spent Christmas day. There are some photos of some shopping, but I have been to Vegas and I went shopping and ate in the restaurants and did not gamble or go to any bars.... We do not know that they were gambling and hanging out with sexy waitresses. They may have exchanged gifts, enjoyed meals together, a drink or two, played games in their hotel rooms.... It is wonderful that they could see family members from both sides over the holidays. I have no idea what broke them up but it is usually not just one side.

Didn't they see Andi's sister at the wedding that they went to the weekend the other Murrays were in KC.

Christmas was a huge deal to my Catholic father, so maybe I sympathize with spending that holiday with those who celebrate the birth of Christ.
