I hate where I live.  Hate, hate, hate it.  I met my husband when I lived her originally and he was on sabbatical elsewhere.  By the time he got back, I had a job elsewhere because I hated it so much.  But I came back for him because I love him.  I think if you love someone that it can make all the difference.

I am not saying Britt is genuine at all, but if you had heard me when I left here to move away, you would never believe that I would have come back.

I hated where I was going to go to college. I had to go there or stay home. No way that 2nd alternative was going to happen. I would still be wearing orange. I was one of 6 kids and that state university was affordable, even though I had some great scholarships it wasn't going to cover out of state travel and room/board. 
I met my DH as a Jr. He occupation had him stationed in that college town, but traveled M-F. We had to settle there. Lived there 12 yrs because that is where he was and had to be even though he traveled. 
When you love someone, you do things for "we" not me or I.
