I doubt he said this because she was definately the one and as CH said in his interview, he asked permission from all families but not all was aired.

IA. Chris isnt going to be that surprised about Becca's status. He already knows and CH alluded to this in his blog or interview somewhere.
I am a bit confused as to how Chris will be at fault if Whitney ends up being F2 because she said she loves him. I am yet to see anything on my screen that shows chris causing Whitney to fall in love. She came in in love and he has to catch up. He likes who she is and how passionate she is about her career but he hasnt actively pursued her any differednt than he did most of the women there. Becca and Britt are the two he has gone the extra mile for IMO.
Not taking anything away from Whitney, but the truth is Becca should have "anger" ( fcant think of a better word) towards him if he dumps her as F2.

The above conversation of who will be more hurt is one reason I really should not watch this show. At least the last three have the possibility of being heartbroken or the show would not be "believable". That is why people watch to see the emotion (and attractive and interesting people.) Anyone that goes on this show has to know that their odds of getting their heart broken is 30 to one. Even the winner and the lead can get their heart broken. Whitney, Becca and Kaitlyn all know that is a possibility. I am just a fan of Whitney and Chris. Kaitlyn and Becca are really interesting and likable girls too.

To me it seems that the f3 like each other if you see how they comment to each other's IG photos. And the way they look in the BTS photos. I don't think there are hard feelings between the f3 ladies. After all, they spent more time with each other than with Chris by the finale. And it seems like they all told each other the details of the 1on 1 dates as well (well maybe not ALL the details.) IMO, if nothing else many of the women came out if it with some great friendships. It just seems like sometimes viewers get more upset than the contestants do, again IMO.

I honestly hope he chose and lasts with HIS choice and not mine. I like many others cant help but to sometimes have a favorite over the other. I didnt care much for Chris the first few episodes when he was kissing everyone without meaninful conversations nor connections. He has since appreared to be serious and won me over. I like Becca and think she is a wholesome girl but that doesnt mean i think Whitney is not. I just relate more with Becca. I wish them both the best and i must admit it is fun to see things differently because that is what makes this place interesting!

He may not be the most well spoken or the deepest thinker but as far as The Bachelor goes he is taking this process very seriously and he's not only thinking with his heart he's thinking with his brain.

That IMO is why he ends up with a F2 that seem to have their heads on straight, are taking this as seriously as he is, haven't been caught up in the house drama and don't want to waste their time with him discussing the other girls.

Now he has these 2 women that he has feelings for (His relationship with Whitney progressed faster but Becca has made up quite a bit of ground) and he has to choose. What to do, what to do? You do what most men do and take the path of least resistance. IMO that would be Whitney.

Whitney is about the only girl this season who hasn't had some big secret to tell. She's not a widow, hasn't been married before. She doesn't have any children and she's not a virgin. She's the closest to his age, I'm assuming she's been in love before and has had her heartbroken. Whit lives 4 hours from him, Becca lives 24 hours from him. He could drive to Chicago and back again in the time it would take him to get to the airport and fly to San Deigo.

I commend and respect a woman who's made the choice to remain a virgin but I question her decision to keep it quiet until the FSD. Chris might be feeling a little blindsided.

I guess I'm having a hard time picturing Chris picking a girl who is 8 years younger, hasn't been in love before, has intimacy issues (intimacy isn't about holding hands, kissing or physical contact. It's about comfort and trust and feeling safe with another person to the point of vulnerability) and doesn't seem to want to take charge. Whitney doesn't seem to have a problem taking the bull by the horns.
IMO Chris is on the fast track to marriage and family. He did say his 5 year plan started 10 years ago. He's ready, Whitney's ready. Becca not so much.

I agree that it makes all the sense in the world for him to pick Whitney. Yet the heart wants what the heart wants. If he were to fall in love with Becca, then I don't think he'd give her up for an easier choice. This show always wants us to think that the lead is almost equally in love with two people, but I think that's rare.

1. Whitney, 29: Her hometown date sealed the deal for me. Whitney and Chris seem to bring out the best in each other. Their day at her work as a fertility nurse was both funny and fascinating, and Chris really seems to admire her and her accomplishments. Above all, heading into meeting Whitney’s family, Chris says, “This is the last time I’m going to see your family until that final day. I want their blessing… I want someone who’s important to you to give me that blessing. I want to talk to them about that.” Can you imagine him ending up with anyone else after that??

HTD episode, before they went inside to meet Whit's family, when he asked who he should ask for the blessing.
