IMO... That is why he choose Lauren for meeting his friends. She completes the friends forever circle and he was so happy to have is girlfriend besides him... I also think that, like someone said before,  prior to filming the friends new they would be a part of the show and whoever Ben took to this date was the one he was most interested in. Also, notice that the only part of the meeting with the friends was a toast to Lauren.

The funny thing about the one friend adding Caila and JoJo is that she didn't add Amanda. That tells me that the friend knows what's going on. Also, we had only recently found out the friends were following Lauren but I wonder for how long.
If they followed after meeting her during taping and before the show aired says tons about Lauren leaving a good impression.

Looking at pictures, Lauren seems to fit in perfectly with his friends. Heck, she and Ben dress alike! I haven't heard Lauren speak much with Ben about faith, but if they've had good conversations around that value as well, I can't see him walking away from her.

I'd love to hope that Ben is truly looking for his wife on this show given the influence of his friends, who seem like good eggs.

I have to imagine they talked about it. It's so important to Ben. ABC would just never air that. Ben did point out his church to Lauren. I have to think that this is mostly why Ben "never gave Leah a chance." She's Jewish. He's extremely Chrisitian and wants to raise his kids in his faith. So yes, I do think this is talked about. I noticed in one of the clips of Lauren's hometown there was a cross in the background at her parent's house. Therefore, I'm guessing her family and background at least has the same, or similar, religious foundation.
