The only reason I doubt Matty being the F1 is because he is already all in. This pattern usually means heartbreak and F2. Maybe they are changing things up and he is imdeed F1 or maybe they had to speed and build that relationship up so that when her other relationship is shown Matty's would match up for the finale.

The only person I would have a hard time with as F1 is honestly Courtney and if he does win I fear the backlash may surpass Alex's. Lol

This is possible and how I would guesstimate a typical season tbh.

For Richie's season, there were no SDs before HTDs (the F5 went camping) and mini-time with the lead (so different from Bette).

For Sam Frost's season, the last 2nd SD (and only one since it was such a short season) was Sasha/F1's 2nd SD.
For Georgia's season Courtney, Matty and Lee have 2nd SDs per sleuthing, with Lee's 2nd SD before HTDs like Sasha/F1 (and both having their first SD in Ep 3).

Currently here's what is sleuthed so far:
Ep 9: 2nd SD = Lee; GD = all F5 singing (based on s/caps and BTS pics)
Ep 10: HTDs = Courtney, Jake, Lee, and Matty (based on sleuthed s/caps and BTS pics)
Ep 11: FDs = Jake, Lee, and Matty (based on s/caps and BTS pics/filming dates)
Ep 12/Finale = ? and Matty (based on nail polished matchup)

I am crossing my fingers that if F2 are Jake and Matty that Matty is F1. I will be happy for Georgia no matter who she picks but I do prefer Matty to Jake and see much more of a love story between Matty and Georgia than with Jake. Then again, I saw more of a love story with Nikki than Alex so that doesn't bode well but hopefully the producers will actually change it up and since Matty has had SQT, CPT, and 2 SDs that they are emphasizing this for a lovestory aspect rather than doing what they did with Nikki :/

I think Matty would make a great Bachelor as he is the most charming and witty of the final four and seems to be a better communicator. I cannot see Jake as the next Bachelor but I can see him as F1. I prefer Matty over Jake but my hunch is Jake will be F1 and Matty or Lee will be next bachelor.

Matty has a great personality for next lead if he is not F1.

I am going with Lee for next Bachelor. He's the total package and I like he is older (same age as Sam Wood was) and I'd love to see him find his soul mate

The only thing that make me doubt Matty as F2 is - why would Georgia take him all the way to the finale to break his heart? She already said she had to let someone go to save her sanity and for his peace of mind (presumably Courtney). Why wouldnt she let Matty go at F3 like Sam did with Richie? She knows he is completely invested in her. Why would she take him all the way to the end if he isnt F1?

That's the age old question with most F2s. So many past F2s have been taken to FRC and invested in the lead so it's nothing new. I think Sam Frost was lucky since she had it in her contract (as she said) for her to make the decisions on who to let go and when and she was more savvy about things and knew who she wanted (Sasha). Other leads who said they knew early on and still took someone invested to F2. It's just a sucky position no matter who the F2 is.

In Georgia's case it could be she is telling the truth that she wasn't like past leads and didn't know early on who she wanted so maybe she was undecided until the end? It's also possible that the others were completely invested as well and just not shown yet (or in the edit) so hard to gauge what Georgia would be thinking. The sanity thing I think if regarding Courtney makes more sense to me that she wouldn't want to be up and down with him and waste her time so a bit different and letting him go because he is not as invested rather than invested, imo.
