Bachelorette 13 - Rachel Lindsay - General Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

I don't know if you guys listened to robert mills podcast from earlier on in the season (the one he does with that girl the day after the bachelor airs).. Anyway on that the girl calls Jojo a doozie & boring and she would like someone different... Mills says because it was obvious who she was going to pick.. He says they have their eye on a girl this season who is nice to everyone / likes everyone and would make great tv - IMO that is raven. However, the whole diversity issue may play a role in choosing Rachel.. IMO

That comment of his IMO could go for either Raven or Rachel. And if we want to really play that one--it could be others IMO.

That interviewer said she absolutely loved JoJo on Ben's season, but thought her bachelorette season was boring, to which Mills said the bachelorettes tend to fall for one guy early on, which leads to a boring season because you know who they're going to pick essentially.

When he mentioned what he did about having a potential girl from Nick's season that wouldn't do that and would like everyone, I more so thought he was referring to Rachel. Raven seems great, but I could very easily see her having a certain type. At the same time, that was a very basic statement by him. Heck, I thought of Corinne JMO.

I agree, it was general enough that it could apply to any of the final four girls. The only girl that I think he completely eliminated as a possibility was Danielle M, when he was talking about how he didn't think Des was feisty enough to deal with confrontations herself and CH had to take care of it for her; that makes me think that they'll go for a typically strong personality like Raven or Rachel. IMO.

Really? I see where you're coming from, but if you look at it Rachel got in a fight with a contestant etc.. I guess you could look at it both ways.. Either way I'm neutral for the bachelorette decision - just NO Corinne!

Meh, Corinne just can't
- because she needs naps too often
- because there are always music segments and she can't plan dance
- because her toasting skills suck (wedding GD and whatever RC)
- because voodoo she thinks she is
- because she already gave away her whole bag of tokens

Hmm I actually think Rachel would be the one to fall for one guy early on. I think she knows what she wants and would probably stick to that one guy. She's also skeptical about this process so her giving multiple guys a chance is plausible to me. I still want her as the 'ette though. JMO

Realistically, I think most bachelorettes fall for one guy early, which I actually like. I think that's why they tend to have more lasting relationships. They fall for one guy early on and really try to build on that during the season. I'd prefer to see a more obvious or boring season and see the lead genuinely fall for someone than a season full of drama. JMO

If Nick does not pick Vanessa....she would make a wonderful Bachelorette IMO. I think Rachel would be good too. Millsy said he wants an Ette like Ali was. I interpreted that to mean fun, goofy, low maintenance, giving lots of men a chance and still a strong woman who can hold her own with the men. Remember Justin Rego.

IMO what Mills said could definitely be about Rachel. I think she qualifies as nice to everyone friends with everyone, since a lot of the girls really like her. IMO Raven is a lot like JoJo, so I think she would be boring. Who does Rachel get in a fight with supposedly?

I totally agree that diversiity will def play a role and I think Rachel will be next bachelorette. She seems nice, she's pretty,smart and a professional. jmo
