I'm now watching the bit with Taite's date and there is SUCH a contrast to her conversation with Bill that I'm  convinced this was a reshoot designed to make Taite look emotionally unavailable, and Ali a hypocrite/idiot for pursuing him.  Wow.  Talking about throwing your Lead and F1 under the bus (even though she's the one driving it).

i find it very interesting that the 2 guys who seem to know Taite the most are Bill and Todd. They were both on point. He is nonchalant and closed off. How did they found it was only physical and not emotional yet?

so todd had very very little time with Al (close second to have the minimum of time)... so was Todd the default F2 all along?

Creepy Charlie who revealed himself a bit A$$ and Bill who just invited his ex-GF as if she was still part of this life as a GF with no benefits?

I think the choice was made easy. Creepy Charlie went too far and Bill was no longer an option to be F2.

However... the last F3 and FS dates... this is when Ali discovered Todd. But again, like hundreds of times before... too little too late

then left Taite and Todd.

I don't see it either, it is not convincing at all. I am still not sure if anyone is falling for her yet, though; including Todd. I do believe Todd and Bill are very open to falling in love though (I think that out of the 4 left they are the closest, that is why Todd gave the opportunity to Bill to get 'revenge' during the German games, yesterday) while Taite doesn't really seem to care that much. I don't buy it.

I don't think Taite went to the show because of Ali, imo that was the last thing on his mind. If, however, he went to the show for her imo he would be reassuring her even if he didn't feel as strongly as she did; yet, instead he told her to be open to date the other guys and added the 'I want you to be happy'...which is what I used to tell the guys who fell in love with me (when I was single) knowing I couldn't reciprocate their feeling. His was in a way the typical 'it is not you, is me', which is what many of us say  to those whose feelings we can't return but we respect, even though we  actually know it really is something about them that makes us not to fall in love with them or not a great match for us.

Yesterday, Taite reminded me a bit of Courtney and Georgia, but not even Courtney was as direct, and, like my husband said, Courtney was clearly a smart guy while Taite isn't particularly intelligent. all IMO What do you think @allaboutlove @bobette did he also reminded you a bit of Courtney but a much duller and far less-clever version of Courtney?

I disagree, what you are stating is not a fact (you are stating it as a fact), it  is a subjective perception. Even my opinion isn't factual. In my experience most guys have been perfectly capable to articulate their feelings when they were really into the girls .My exes, friends, brother, cousins etc, express their feelings well when they really want to do it, the rest are excuses. If we are talking about teenagers, perhaps they have difficulties because of brain development, but a man over 25 usually knows when he wants a girl and wants to let her know about it. In spite of that,  I cannot claim that 'most men of the world' are the same, but only what I have seen in my experience or learnt from studies I have read. Also, using terms as 'most' is making a huge generalisation since the World's  male population exceeds the 3 billion (close to  4 billion, actually) and there are significant cultural differences among populations. Overstatements are not reality; hence that is not an excuse for Taite, or anyone to behave in certain ways. Also, all the other remaining guys have had no issues communicating their feelings, so what makes Taite special?

Sooo trying to catch up on all the threads is as exhausting as trying to work Taite out, and her obsession with him?! BTW amazing sleuthing!

I am here for the upcoming Todd episodes now that Todd will get a lot more air time i am hooked

i have to say though IMO Ali speaking German last night was fantastic! I Loved it and wish she spoke German on the show the whole time!!maybe i would have enjoyed it more

tonights WTF episode looks messy and hilarious at the same time.. but what i am mostly intrigued now about is how the SM is reminding me a little of Nicks season and am a little worried for Ali! if Taite rejects her or if they have broken up already i really REALLY hope she gets some help - jmo

I can't work Taite out either. I don't see him interested in Ali like past F1s were in their leads. I honestly feel like he is into her physically but that is all it is.Like he wants to bang her but that's about it. 

He's been on reality tv First Dates before and was sleazy acting there and all about the physical on that show too. I think it's just physical for him with Ali and there's not much of an emotional connection. 

I don't see it lasting with Taite and honestly it's like he is being pushed to chase her (fight for her as she said) but he's not really into it. I don't see it

I did enjoy seeing her dressed traditionally German and listening to her speaking German. I also relate to her because I too have European ancestry and Christmas Eve is the most important night for us, the 25th is good too but not memorable as Christmas Eve. On Christmas Eve we dine at midnight and also exchange lots of presents 26th (Boxing Day) isn't really as special in Europe as it is here in Australia, now I celebrate in different ways, so I too continue celebrating the 26th (Boxing Day), not just on Christmas Day, but nothing will replace the beauty and significance that Christmas Eve has to me

I agree, imo it is physical, but even then, I don't think he is that physically attracted to her either' he may be moderately attracted to her and I think he can see she is good looking her but there may still be something about her looks that doesn't really captivate Taite. He may not be into big breasts either (I know many men who like small breasts and hate fake breasts), or her mouth, or just something about her that doesn't quite please Taite. Sometimes I think he kisses Ali to avoid talking to her and the way he responds to her questions makes me feel that he doesn't necessarily want to spend too much time with her, that he feels uncomfortable and resourceless after spending a long time with her. That is all IMO

My husband noticed the license plate too, and wasn't there and ITM in which Ali said that she needed to know if the guy she chose could move 'here' (South Australia). I think it was when she was talking to Taite. I should probably check again.
