It makes sense that they have updated their release to futon critic/tvguide up through July 4, but haven't yet sent the database update that reflects the NEW MTA date.

I just understand now that the July 4th repeat episode will not cut an episode we normally see during a season. However, the MTA will be on a Sunday 7/31 night before the FRC and After the Final Rose which will take place on 8/1 Monday.

So it will be:

Sunday:

2 hour MTA

Monday:

2 hour FRC (finale)

1 hour After the Final Rose

One does have to wonder what's going to be told at the MTA this year with it being held on a sunday night before the finale instead of the week before like it normally does. It sure does have my curiousity up.

Probably Bent - right?

Whether or not Bent shows up the MTA will be all about him with sides of Will and probably Ryan.

BTW will the BP taping be over by the time this happens? Because you've got some BP cast members (am I supposed to keep BP spoilers out of here?) who'd be expected to be at MTA - right?

So maybe with MTA it's about keeping the season villain fresh in people's minds before the final episode and ATFR where I assume they'll have the F1 if there is an F1 reacting to the Bent storyline too?

We might have more of a chance for an ATFR that actually focuses on the couple if MTA is airing just the night before. A tired viewer can dream, can't she?
