Everything she wrote in regards to Eric I was just nodding while reading. I have zero time for those other fools and to me Eric has been nothing but real and authentic and genuinely there for Rachel as Rachel said herself in her blog Eric kept it 100! Just like Sharleen, I am #TeamEric!

I had to make a .GIF of how deeply irritating Lee's personality type is. First, his "I'm being straightforward" reminded me of a tweet I recently liked. Also, I loved how wonderfully and exasperatedly Eric responds with a simple, truly straightforward, "I'm so confused!"

Like I said at Flare, if you're going to target or confront someone, fine. But don't flank your passive aggressive statements with "I love you"s. Is there anything worse than "I love you, but—", or "I'm sorry, but—"? UGH.

And as if the UGHs could not be any more emphatic...

Iggy, "maddened" by the fact that Eric has a rose while he doesn't, deems it his responsibility to throw Eric under the bus more than was already done on the Group Date. He opens with describing the Eric situation, while Rachel, being the coolest, most realistic Bachelorette ever, responds with...

Of course, to convince her, Iggy stretches the truth by saying Eric's comments were specifically about Rachel not being genuine (which, based on what we saw anyway, isn't true). However, when confronting Eric later—"like an adult" as he put it—he said Rachel specifically asked who made those statements (as though he opened with the statements and not who made them), and that he answered Eric. Of course, this is simply not true, as we JUST saw him open the conversation, where he LED with his reservations about Eric. Not very "adult"-like to me. Also note how Iggy too brings up Eric's "growth"...

Sounds an awful lot like Iggy and Lee have had a discussion about the ways in which their dear, beloved Eric can "grow", doesn't it?

Again, like I said at Flare, there are few things more deeply irritating than being treated like a subordinate by your equal. It's annoying when anyone inserts themselves and their opinions in your private conversation, à la Iggy, or when someone passively aggressively tells you about how much "potential" you have, à la Lee. What place do Iggy and Lee have telling Eric the ways in which he should "grow"? If you don't mesh with a person you're forced to live with, as Blake E should've done with Lucas, just avoid them and mind your own damn business.

You guys know by now I am always careful to observe the where-there's-smoke-there's-fire rule. I realize that based on all this smoke, it is possible Eric has some maturing to do, but frankly I haven't seen that, while I have seen behavior from both Iggy and Lee that would irritate and even anger me. In fact, I've found Eric's responses to Iggy and Lee to be super reasonable. And regarding his shouting later on... well, you could argue his biggest mistake is letting them get under his skin, especially since it only further incentivizes the guys to provoke and needle him. But other than that, it's safe to say I am staunchly #TeamEric.

I love Eric! I know I'm in the minority but think Eric handled the confrontation really well, since it was obvious he was being provoked. I would have really been mad. I cannot stand people like Lee, who lie behind your back and then provoke you by throwing your own words (wrongly) back in your face. I like that Eric is showing emotion, he's edgy and interesting, and very natural in front of the cameras. He behaved no worse than anyone else in the room, had they been provoked in like manner. JMO #TeamEric

Eric's first date is week 6 in Denmark. Switzerland is his last chance to get a 2nd 1-1. I'm questioning maybe Eric has the 1-1 date - tour of Old Town Geneva, and Dean is on the group date and gets the rose.

As we know, and RS admits, he has big gaps in his spoilers. I don't think he knows. He did say yesterday we will have to wait and see, and he is not emphatically saying that he 100 percent knows this season that his spoiler is right. He doesn't have any details for Spain (no pics) and only Peter's date in Switzerland, The other 2 1-1's could be ???. #TeamEric #ItsMiracleSeason

That's actually an interesting question. I'm not up on the stats. Did Chris Soules get two 1-1 dates? I remember the first one but I don't recall a second, but then I also don't recall if Marcus got two 1-1s either. I didn't watch most of Kaitlyn's season and have forgotten Jojo's also.

Well, maybe if we go with her slow burn comment, Eric gained ground during the Hometown date and that's why he leapfrogged Dean?

I have no idea about past F4's but Dean definitely got a 2nd 1-1 date in Switzerland according to approx 3:39 mark in this season preview - you can see them greeting each other with her jumping up towards him:

IMO it does seem a little weird that Dean got a 2nd 1-1 over Eric yet gets eliminated before him. I'm curious to see why Rachel makes that decision. Then again Corinne never got a 1-1 and made it to F4 over DLo, Dani M AND Kristina, so who knows

I am intrigued by Eric and like him (his slightly hot temper ways just makes him more interesting to me and I can understand getting frustrated when others are so condescending towards you & in that environment, and I got even more clarity now with the video @Dessler posted). This will be an interesting ride because honestly, while I am more drawn to Peter and Dean personally, I like all of Rachel's F4 and think they are all hot so it's going to be fun!

With regard to the bolded, at the end Sean gave 1:1 dates to those he was unsure about. Maybe this is similar. She was on the fence about Dean, but more sure of Eric?

I am intrigued by Eric and like him (his slightly hot temper ways just makes him more interesting to me and I can understand getting frustrated when others are so condescending towards you & in that environment, and I got even more clarity now with the video @Dessler posted). I consider this season to be officially unspoiled. RS practically admitted he doesn't know and we'll have to wait and see on August 7. He has no pics or video of the final week. We know Bryan and Peter got htds. Is there a pic of Dean's htd? The only thing we know about Switzerland is the date with Peter. A lot of unknowns about that episode as well as overnights and final week. It was almost like Eric was kept "hidden" until April 26 when all of a sudden RS tweeted about the htd filming right then in Baltimore (I called my son right away to get down there and take pics - he lives in Baltimore

) and he put up the pic from Denmark 1-1 date. Up until that point, we didn't even know Eric had a 1-1 date in episode 6, much less a htd. For that reason and more, it's enough to say something's serious with Eric they don't want us to know. hmm..
