Jason & Molly Mesnick - Bachelor 13 - Discussion

I used to like him. As the years go on on he reminds me of a lazy, old sponge without much get up and go and I like him less and less.

I can't say I've ever really liked him. He's always been a weenie to me. JMO.

Interesting article. In reading the comment section at the bottom, the first person to respond looks like Jesse C, Deanna's #1 pick.

So is he using a ghost writer of some sort to cover his butt?  Did he sell his story?  Or what?  Why is someone writing a book about him/his journey and its not him?  

I mean if Courtney, Andi, Sean, etc. can write a book and become best sellers, I'm sure he could string words together enough for an editor to make sense of it.

I read that he wrote a book and really, I don't get it at this point. After it happened I would get, but now?

I can't believe how big a fan I was of him.

Isn't that the Huffington Post that made it seem like Jason is writing a book?

JMOAA: I have always thought of him as unambitious and to the point of being lazy vs laid back. SO --why not have someone write a book for him? It beats having to do it yourself. I think if he could have someone eat, drink, poop and breathe for him he might do that, too. Again, JMO

I have always liked Jason and thought he was very sincere about wanting to find the one for him, he just let his insecurities and TPTB push him into picking Melissa.  Jason and Molly have been together along time and seem extremely happy.  Melissa (IMO) was never really there for Jason or any other reason than to try to make her current husband jealous and get him back.  What Jason did took a lot of bXXXs and he knew that TPTB were going to through everything they could to make him look bad. When that staged breakup happened (I read somewhere),  Jason and Melissa had already broken up and she was already dating her current husband!  He agreed to go through with the staged break up just for a chance to get Molly to go out with him again.  TPTB really put him through the wringer!

@George1218 IA I have the same opinion. The whole thing was a mess. Whether he pulled a JPG or not, the result unfortunately for him was the same. Hate at every corner.

I don't follow them as much anymore, but I'm happy to see his little family who all seem to be doing well.

They kept it super vague. I doubt it's a book Jason secretly wrote. Maybe something about Bach nation or reality shows?

I don't mind Jason. I can't remember what I thought about him during his season but post season? There are too many annoying alum who bug me. Jason isn't on the radar .

I like Jason! Never really understood all the backlash against him, and to this day I'm surprised that out of 34ish seasons Jason is the only one to commit his "grievous error." Love Molly even more. She's awesome. I'm so completely meh/annoyed with Melissa though. 

Jason faded back to real life. He and Molly are legit. He isn't sanctimonious at all like certain other successful formers. He doesn't take himself too seriously. He seems like a good dad. He isn't offensive at all. And I still credit him for being the first Bachelor to walk down the aisle with his chosen lady. I think he deserves that credit, and it often gets gifted to Sean instead.

I thought they had a good thing going when I watched Wife Swap.

I love the sibling relationship between Ty and Riley. Such a good big brother.
