I am more excited about Chris as TB than I have ever been about any other lead!  I think he is very genuine, successful, not "shifty" or a "player", intelligent and HE IS HOT!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!! I just hope that TPTB cast most of the girls for him and not for drama.

There's always going to be the drama girls.  That's just the way this show works.  I fully expect to have a few of them causing me to scream at my TV screen, but I agree with everything you said.

If Chris really is the Bachelor, I'll be more excited about this season than any before, but I'm not getting my hopes up 'till there's an official announcement.
I just hope that he's not blinded by the models/opportunists/loosey goosey's trying to win at all cost.  I hope he has the presence of mind to weed those out, and find a smart, attractive, great gal who fits with his life, and he with hers.

Meanwhile, keeping my hopes up.  And I LOVE that pic.

He's great looking, can hold a mature conversation, seems like he's fun (although we didn't get to see much of it) and clearly he has a successful business he's tied to so is not out just for a cash grab or to become famous (though of course, to most who go on these shows I'm sure that's a nice bonus).

I will be so invested in him really finding someone, so hope they cast well.
