Wilhelmina is his agency, the photos are from various photographers
such as the shoot in Miami and here in Ca. From what I can see
he is building his portfolio putting them on SM where Brands
Will see them notify Willi they want to use him that's a job.
She gets a cut. Who pays for portfolio pics? Nick does. Could
Be quite costly. I haven't seen where clothes are mentioned
by brand. Has anyone else?

The photographer who did a photoshoot with Nick tagged the stylist team and the designer clothes. The stylist also posted and tagged, etc. And editorial was posted in caption.

Yep

I should add if the pics were commissioned by the brand names to be used for advertising then yes

You might open a magazine and see the pic. I don't know about the use for sm.

I understand "our" view how so many "posed" pics and shirtless pics are unnecessary on SM ...

but today the fashion business, specifically the modeling industry has changed ... the SM is their ticket to get the deal ... now it's not enough to only have a good portfolio or a good agent ... you also need to have a good "fan-base" ... people who contract the models are looking into their SM - how many likes/comments - traffic - they have on their SM pages.
It may be silly to us, but it's a "business" to them.

If you look IGs of other models, especially female, you can see how often they post in their lingerie or bathing-suits, "showing-off" ... it's their way to get "noticed" and stay "relevant" (considering that's their daily bread) ... at the end it's no different than what Beyonce, Taylor Swift or Jessica Alba (to name few of the top-business women) do with their SM.

Couldn't have said it better, it's the misrepresentation of the facts that is the issue in the discussion thread.
