If he were to move to LA for Lauren, I doubt he'll get swept up in the Hollywood lifestyle. That's what I think/hope anyways! and yes agree about how he felt about a life with JoJo but we might have to watch the rest of that scene to hear what his answer was and how it was said.

Regarding bolded: He did tell JoJo's parents that he was open to moving on the HTD. We don't know what he told JoJo on their date regarding moving. It makes sense though, that if he is starting to pull away from JoJo, that he wouldn't tell her that he has his bags packed and is ready to move to Dallas. JMO

We've had PLENTY of couples announce their plans to move right away. I doubt that's the surprise, regardless who is planning to do the moving - Lauren or Ben.

One thing to remember: Both CM and MF have doctoral degrees in bullish*t. 
A big surprise could be Ben is scheduled to have his mole removed and it's not cancer. 
My bet is the surprise is tptb are offering them a vacation.

The surprise doesn't have to actually be a big deal.  TPTB just want to make it seem like a big deal to ensure viewers tune in or stay tuned in and don't change the channel after seeing the final rose given.  

MF, CH, Millsy, and the rest associated with TPTB and show like to exaggerate and stretch the truth, IMO.

I had thought about a vacation also. Especially Ben mentioned that after all this they wanted to take a vacation and then start making wedding plans.

That's what I thought especially when CH said he had a few things up his sleeve. They haven't given a vacation to the final couple in a while have they?

The only thing he has up his sleeve is arm hair and he might not even have that if he waxes or shaves.

Jade & Tanner. but that was for BIP. Don't think any Bach couple has lately.

I don't think Ben will get swept up in it, and the jury is out on Lauren on that one, imo. 
I live here in LA and it's NOT an easy place to settle down. There are many distractions and temptations...

Only they know what's best for them ultimately, but Denver would be a better choice for any young couple, let alone one in the public eye, IMO.
