Ben Higgins - Lauren Bushnell - Bachelor 20 - Discussion - #2

Act 2 of the most boring people in the history of television.
And now laughable is being used in its proper context.  

I don't think they're chasing "fame". It's more so the opportunity, money, and to give back. Again, this is just wedding planning and Ben putting Humanity and Hope more out there and his other community services. It's not like he did that during the Bachelor. During their media circuit they mentioned that they would accept opportunities and offers that are dear to them and serves good morals. I'm in the minority but I'm excited about it. Can't wait to see Lauren plan her wedding and Ben passionate about his community work. To each their own. I don't find them boring. Maybe some that think so will still tune in anyway.

The first thing I thought of was Jessica Simpson and Nick L. 
Probably not the best idea. These things are even more grueling than something like TB.

I dont think this is going to be something permanent, like KUWTK. I think its more along the lines like the Blac China and Rob series which is only 6 episodes and documents their journey to parenthood. The ET article says it will follow their life leading up to the wedding. I think that is ultimately the end game here. Freeform used to be ABC family but changed its name to reach a more grown audience so it makes sense for why it would show on there. Im excited to see if it does well.

I agree with you Cila. Hope to see a lot of wedding planning. I think it is perfect that Season 20 of the bachelor turn out with a wedding and I am sure they will promote that.

I am sure this will be a hit . And the rest depends how ratings will be and possibly what they will do . You know ? They are well love and such a hot couple right now .

*edit* fans kept asking and begging for a reality tv show and here they have it. Its amazing. Also i hope the bachelor alumns don't hate cuz im 99 sure they would all do it...heck for the most part they live on social media or have tried the waters with some form of reality show post bachelor...

Just curious as to what has been put out there to make it seem like Lauren calls all the shots and Ben just follows her directions aka "whipped." As with everyone, Lauren has flaws and is not perfect but she appears to have made sacrifices for Ben and they make decisions for the most part together. Lauren has done a lot of redocorating Ben's house, but it was very much a single man's bachelor pad. Ben has welcomed the upgrades and has been a part in some of them as well. Earlier this week, Ben flew to Chicago alone to hang out with college friends while Lauren hung out with her siblings. IMO, we haven't seen enough of their relationship to make statements about their roles in the relationship.

As they said they will be showing their new post life in Denver means Lauren being new in Denver adopting her new life and being in a new place , their struggles as a couple which mostly opening eveything and sharing the world about their post life in Denver and of course their road to getting married . Jmo.

I never watched that show. But I did see that particular scene many times and love it. It still makes me laugh.

So the filming will be 2+ months or so, it they start fuming some time in July, and end filming in September for it to air in October. It'll be a few episodes IMO, and then their wedding. It's not going to be series, or many seasons. Jmo.
