Here is another way to look at it:
The season IMO has been pretty obvious despite the lame drama and silly red herrings. So to stir up talk, TPTB floated a false sourced rumor to RS as they have done in the past. Now there is talk until the show airs in 4-5 days.

Don't forget about Luke R. (was it yesterday?) gushing over JoJo...but maybe he didn't get the memo yet.

this is a cute whisper in RSs ear to drum up interest and perhaps to get the F2 to spill his emotions to the lead.

they did this to Arie and to Nick (last time) also. Stirred the pot getting them to think the lead would change their mind somehow.

If she was so confused and unhappy, getting clarity and walking away could conceivably be a positive step, right?

The thing is she has been this way throughout post filming. This happy step (SM wise) is not something new. IMO.

Not when she just liked a quote on IG Tuesday about finding a great love (paraphrasing here). It's one page back.

That's because she went back to ChadR then imo. Wonder whose arms she's in if not Jordy's?

A major assumption being made is that "everything that Jojo likes on SM is a true reflection of her state of mind or relationship status". There is a possibility that she can like something on SM & it may not truly reflect how she is feeling.

Regardless there is still no concrete proof that she is broken up with her F1. Even if she does not physically land in LA till Monday, still possible that the people mag photoshoot was already done....Monday at the AFTR will be telling....jmo.

This is a refreshing viewpoint.  Before I even knew about all this new "stuff", I wondered if RS has always been "fed" information to beef up the interest in the show.  Maybe the ratings for MTN were down and this was leaked to spark interest in the next episode.

What else has he tweeted since ?

I'm waiting for a timeframe from him.
