I wonder for how long is he going to talk about Lauren and the break up. And I wonder how many times Lauren will get dragged because of something he said in these interviews.

I don't see why. Ashley has experience in the field of journalism and Lauren doesn't. What is weird to me is that Ben actually wants to do this. I hope he is not his usual dull self.

I hope so. I thought that dull was the edit and that he had a little more personality IRL, but it appears not.

That's why I thought they were doing it together. IMO, iHeart probably reached out to Ben and I'm guessing he discussed it with industry friends. He's close with Naz and she currently does a podcast with Ashley I, so I could definitely see her suggesting Ashley as a co-host. Ashley has experience and doesn't have a real job, so she could be responsible for editing it, planning guest, etc. That leaves Ben with minimal responsibility. He just has to do a little prep for the interview and skype with Ashley I & their guest once a week for an hour or so. As for him being on radio shows and going to the concert with Ashley, I would think it was part of his contract. I also think it was meant to coincide with The Bachelorette premiere and having Ben & Lauren break up the week before was icing on iHeart's PR cake. ALL JMO.

He's literally starting the podcast afterthe breakup. To me it was an easy way of thinking its the best set up right there. Right before the ette premiere and the break up with Lauren. IMO, not everything that Ben does or says is unicorns and sparkles. I think everyone has their own agenda and this was Ben's. Just like Lauren had that people shoot wrapped up already about the breakup. It's also interesting that he's in the limelight just in time as ette starts which is when people start throwing new Bachelor suggestions...

Ben just likes the fame and he would do the Bachelor again in a heart beat only women who want to give up there life to be with Ben should apply jmo

"Ashley is great. She’s [just] a good friend and a great cohost and your cohost can be a friend as well, can we all agree?” Higgins, 29, explained to Seacrest after he and Iaconetti, 29, were spotted at a Bryan Adams concert in L.A. on Saturday, May 20.

As for Bushnell, Higgins told Seacrest that the premiere of the podcast was planned well before they announced their split on May 15.

"[Ashley and I] started planning this podcast months ago way before any of this [separation news] happened ... It's going to be a lot of things. It's going to kind of be a lifestyle podcast that just has a lot of fun, great interviews," Higgins concluded, adding that he and Bushnell are still on friendly terms.
