When I read an article, and it's quoted, then they are quoting what the person said. I don't see anywhere where he said the people in question is Lauren.

There has been a lot to speculate that he in fact is being considered, several formers have already mentioned he would be the next bachelor, Ali is just one of them. We have seen many times in the past when formers, especially Ali mention a potential lead, it's said for a reason.

It's better to get the information straight from him, on his podcast, rather than some article quoting him and mixing in their own words. Because Ben never said he was concerned talking about dating because of fans. Like I said, the person he was referring to was Lauren IMO.

What former leads have said he should be the bachelor again? What did they say? I must have missed that.

Ben 2.0 would probably tell 4 women he was in love with them, propose and then be like "what? what's the problem? You're mad I told 3 other women I loved them right before proposing to you? That's so silly. I'm the bachelor and can do whatever I want."

So his excuse for bs and making up lies re being ready to get married etc just before they announced the break up, was because he didn't want to hurt the fans? Dear goodness, he has issues. Imagine being in a relationship with a dude, who has the fans to consider, when he makes relationships decisions. Jmo.

He's Imo definitely considered as the next lead. And he's considering it, IMO, seriously too.

^ I'm not surprised there's discussion about him being the Bachelor as he is still very well liked by the general population outside this forum.

However, I don't know what weight Ali or Rachel's opinions have. Are we supposed to assume they know something we don't? IMO, the next Bachelor hasn't been chosen yet. Ben has offers left and right, he doesn't need the show IMO.

When Ali talked about it on her blog, she still thought Peter would be f1 otherwise she thought he'd be TB. This is from her blog post that mentions Ben H as a possibility:

That really wouldn’t be fair to Lauren. And I don’t think Ben would do that to her. So I don’t know who it’s going to be! But I’m pretty excited to find out. If Rachel ends up with Peter and Dean ends up with somebody on Bachelor in Paradise, then I (for the first time ever) feel like there isn’t an obvious choice. So it will be exciting to find out who ABC chooses!

All I hear is a script full os platitudes and Bs. Ben has talked about his former relationship so much that I am expecting it to morph into his Bachelor storyline by Sept. Poor Benji 2.0...coming soon to a TV screen near you Jan 2018. giggling

As much as I am not hoping for Ben 2.0....I would gladly take that over some of Rachel's guys....the Brobros. IMO.

Please do not speak for the members of this forum or prove with facts that outside of this forum Ben is well liked. I'm not sure how you can possibly gauge that.

IMO It wasn't Rachel's idea to say she didn't want anyone from her season to be TB. That's not showing very much support for her contestants. Leads are coached and guided on what to say in the media. I'm pretty sure as we've seen in the past, these types of rumours are thrown out there just to see what the response would be from the viewers.

ITA Since there are over 7500 members of this forum and the vast majority of members don't post daily and read, opinions are not often expressed. So there is no way to accurately gauge membership opinions.

I would happily love to watch Benji have a go again because I love him heartbeat

but who and what is to say he's stopped being the dummy he used to be? We're going to get the same dang thing again. Maybe he can have a grownup on hand to help make the decisions??

Its too soon for Ben IMO. Maybe next year I would buy it but now he still seems to be wrapped up in his last relationship or rather the failure of it.
