IMO they have free wi-fi for guests in the hotels/resorts in Maldives. Removing a link from IG profile wouldn't cost him anything, IMO.

FYI, just for a update no other SM activity besides the link removal has happened yet.

And it would take him only a few minutes to do imo. If he's F1 he could've done it while Becca was going to the bathroom or something .

I haven't seen anything definitive in regards to social media to say who is F1 yet Imo.

Do we know for sure if Garrett is for sure a republican/conservative or is it guessed based on the gun link that was on his ig?

I don't know the answer to your question and I'm just making an observation here... I know plenty of Democrats that love guns and I know plenty of Republicans that don't. So I'm not going to make any assumptions about a link he had on his ig at one time.

There was also a comment on one of the pictures the brother commented on from someone that sounded like they knew the family saying they wondered if if he could be with someone so liberal. Then I saw the gun reference and figured he must be conservative with those two things together.

I know married people who have extreme differences in politics so they just don’t talk about them with each other. I certainly have friends from both sides. It doesn’t mean you don’t have plenty of things you agree on. I have no idea if Garrett is f1 but don’t think that possibility rules him out.

What albean99 describes is very rare. And most of people I knew in this situation doesn’t seem really happy to me.

@star_D I live in Texas and probably disagree with 3/4 of the people I meet, or would if we talked about it but it doesn't come up. Relationships can be harder but we don't know Garrett's opinions on the things that Becca considers important. They may agree on more than they disagree. There's also James Carville and Mary Matalin who have managed to remain married.

In my life, I have known many married couples with opposing political views.  The most successful marriages, in my circle of friends, have been the ones with opposing views on politics.  

Actually, what @albean99 describes is the norm in today's world, and not "rare" at all.

i like to think, regardless of individual political views, we all want the best for the people of this country.  Just because we disagree on how to get there, doesn't mean we can't have successful friendships and marriages when our views don't align perfectly.

If it is just the gun issues, I really don't see that being a problem with them. Becca has handled guns herself, proof is on her IG page. Her brother-in-law to be is big into hunting and fishing as was her father. In fact, just for that fact alone, I think Garrett will fit right into her family! The boys can go fishing and the girls can do their thing

I agree with @albean99 that they (if they are the final couple) may agree on many more things than they disagree on. I chuckled at the Carville/Matalin reference... had totally forgotten about them! They have been married 25 years and have 2 children.

In the long run, it is their relationship and lives to live. If they choose to do it together, more power to them.
