We had our first snow here in Montréal today! I was not ready to see snow when we had almost 70 degrees temperature three days ago! The older I get, the more I hate the cold and snow!

@Fleurdesel I'm with you. I do not like snow and all the headaches that come with it!!

I had my winter tires put on this morning. It's so sad, they'll be on till April!

Yea, the summer this year was abnormally dry and hot in areas that weren't before. Our province of BC had the worse fire season yet. The whole province is in a major drought. The fires that happened through the province were extensive, hundreds of homes and businesses lost and some are still burning in the north of the province.

This is so hard to follow. I was suppose to be at Ft Myers Beach Oct 1-8th but had to cancel my long awaited vacation for other reasons. A few days before Hurricane Helene brought storm surges and made a mess not only to Florida but horrible flooding in other States as well.

Now here we go again. FMB is still rebuilding after Ian. It's heartbreaking to see the damage all across so many areas.

We are having extreme cold weather. It's currently 5F, -15C. My car doors were frozen on the weekend. Luckily the sun came out in the afternoon which allowed me to open again luckily, the drivers side. The other doors were still frozen. I went and bought some silicone spray. By the time I got back, I was able to open the rest of the doors.  I sprayed all four doors. It worked because today is day two and I was able to open the doors. It's been so cold everyday.

My friends are in Fort Walton Beach, FL and made a snowman today. South Texas also has snow while it was sunny for us in the Dallas area. We got the snow and ice a couple of weeks ago so glad we just got the cold this time.
