These guys are great and they got thoroughly ripped off IMO - not only by TPTB's choice of Lead but now reportedly no Paradise.  Two weeks of quarantine and months of staying single/social media blackouts for in some cases very little screentime.

I just watched the extras videos.  Always interesting IMO to see who they pair up with whom on the couches in these "get to know you" type clips.  So many likeable characters.  I really think COVID worked to TPTB's advantage when casting the guys - many would have been temporarily out of work with time on their hands who usually wouldn't have considered signing up IMO.

It could have been such a great season, if only TPTB had cast different Leads...  

And yes I agree @bachie.bachie there was definitely some selective editing with the double date.  Considering Becky was the one gushing over Harry in the previews, he could have easily gone either way and they would have just used the corresponding footage IMO.  I bet they also took promotional photos of the girls with the opposite guys in case they had to use them later.  





The most interesting Insider Guide segment for me was Frazer talking about Joe's next-day reaction to him getting up close and personal with Elly at the photoshoot (he was miffed, and not just fake miffed for the cameras like Adrian ).  I'm feel for Joe - cast as the back up plan, with Elly is using him for emotional support (e.g. their chat at the last CP) and taking advantage IMO.

I just watched some extras and oh my god. The boys are so boring on tv compared to on extras. They should've gotten someone that bought the inner them out.

@Dumb Yes I totally agree.  Many these guys would have done much better on Angie or Sophie's seasons IMO.  The goofballs are not being allowed to shine because Elly and Becky's taste is so vanilla IMO.

I find it really funny how the guys called the girls with the wrong named when they were drunk and they'd correct them, would've been funny to watch

Well this is just embarrassing for the girls (and I totally believe it's the truth ):

While contestants know by now that someone will be identified as "the villain" each season, it didn't stop this year's bad boy from being simply "ropable" with his edit.

... because no one appears to be getting a particularly bad edit, nor has anyone stood out as a villain from the first two eps.     

IMO the whole cast has already blurred into a melange of disinterested men and two Leads who seem completely out of their depth.  It's all very bland and boring IMO.  

So who are they referring to?  James?  Who hasn't been playing ball re: "promotion of the show"?  Need to check the IGs...

I hope TPTB realise they made a huge mistake with the Leads this year IMO.     

It's already cost them one of the most interesting guys in Ab, and whoever the other walkouts are they're likely to be the "better" guys with a modicum of self-respect, leaving only the most fame-hungry on the show IMO.  

What a waste - it could have been a decent season if they'd cast a different Lead.

So that's very very interesting IMO.  

The F1s are doing by far the least promotion.  But I wouldn't say either of them are getting a villain edit so I wonder who the article is referring to...

Either way, that level of disinterest by the F1s spells certain doom for the relationships IMO.  

I will be absolutely shocked if any of them are still together when the finale airs (... but will the boys be prepared/forced to fake it - that's the question)

Can’t imagine the F1’s getting villainised down the track, so maaybe Damo is the one? Interesting that the 2 F1’s are doing the absolute least though. Maybe just pissed off that they got chosen, so can’t be in the running for Bach, or BIP if it happens?

Agreed on the F1s @Dirty Street Pie - I see no evidence that TPTB are going to throw either of them under the bus (so far).  IMO they're both just reluctant/embarrassed F1s.  So yeah could be Damien?  But he's getting so little airtime I'm not sure how he could be unhappy with his edit?  Unless that's the problem - he expected more.  

The other possibility is Harry IMO - he's not coming off looking great so far and seems like the type to spit the dummy.  Might be pissed they cut out his time with Becky on the double date (and the night 1 comments which got cut of her saying he was hot).  Without that info he's going to get viewer backlash if he attempts a team switch IMO.
