So said one of Desiree’s ex-boyfriends, Sean Lowe. He may be right. Many take it way too seriously. I personally think people often display some of the “textbook sign” traits from time to time (maybe it is all cultural influence), but you obviously can’t cookie cutter everybody into any one type. Likewise, “incompatible” signs don’t necessarily have doomed relationships… common sense tells you that everything requires work.
Whether you “dig” this stuff or not, I went ahead and did match-ups with the four bachelors we have birthdays for so far. We can add more later… especially since all four of these may be dumped any day now! Have to give a special thanks to sophienette for rounding up some of these for us to have fun with.
All of the stuff below, except for my brief intros, I didn’t make up, but edited down and consolidate from the following links (What? You think I’m an expert on all of this?):

First up: What signs does Desiree have?
A quick rundown: (07/01/1986 Planetary positions at noon time: Sun 9-Cancer / Moon in Taurus / Mercury 3-4-Leo / Venus 18-Leo / Mars 20-Capricorn / Jupiter 22-Pisces / Saturn 4-Sagittarius / Uranus 19-Sagittarius / Neptune 4-Capricorn / Pluto 4-Scorpio / Chiron 17-Gemini / N. Node 27-Aries)
Like Roseanne Barr back in the ‘80s, she is proud to be a Domestic Goddess. This Cancer/Taurus combo loves the occasional spotlight (Mercury and Venus in Leo) and plenty of travel (those Sagittarius planets), but is always sighing huge relief when she makes it back to home sweet home… even if home was never the ideal others perceive as home. With Mars in Capricorn, she has an obsession for micromanaging, discipline and maintaining order in her surroundings… and with other people. No Sean, that broken art piece gag was not funny. The best match for her is somebody with enough “earth” signs (i.e. Capie, Taurus and Virgo) since he would have a better understanding of why she operates this way, security issues included. The Sagittarius planets and Jupiter in Pisces makes her quite philosophical and religiously inclined.
Dezie has no air signs apart from a key asteroid Chiron (Gemini) and her South Node. Therefore, it is a good idea to hook up with somebody who has, since she is a bit shy and awkward about the whole “intellectualizing and socializing” bit.
In any case, these are just four guys, perhaps all potential “dumpees” with either a Mystery Man yet to identified by Reality Steve or one the other named contestants we don’t have a birthday for being the future Mister Hartsock. (Yeah, he may need that nickname since Mars in Capricorn ladies love to wear the pants too.)
As she dumps each one, week by week, we can get a humorous “clue” as to what marital bliss would have been like between them. Granted, anything “negative” here can easily be fixed by something “positive”, so none of these guys are TOTALLY incompatible with her.

Usually Leos are a bit on the arrogant side, but his Cancer Mars (same degree as Kasey Stewart’s Mars in fact… hmmmm… interesting) makes him a bit more expressive in his emotions than some of the others. Of course Desiree wants a couple traits in common with her Sun sign. The one “danger zone” here is that his Jupiter/Saturn in early Libra is battling with her Sun, so they may be clashing here with some their goals in life. As mentioned above, all of these matchups have something going for them so anything I snatched online and posted below that suggests conflict may be compensated by something else.
With that said, of the four here, he is probably the most challenging for her, but she may need a good one at this point of her life.

I am guessing his Moon sign is in late Sagittarius, but it could be in early Capricorn… which could cause a bit of trouble here. Then again, it might not since “opposites attract”. However, they seem to share a bunch of Sagittarius signs here. Intriguingly, both he and Kasey have late Libra planets close to her South Node and this hints that both remind her of people in her past… in Chris’ case, some of the feistier ones since he has Mars there.
It appears that Chris was cast by production to play some sort of “therapy” role for her, regardless if she chooses him in the end or not, getting her over some obstacle she has in relationships. That is, if he gets a 1 on 1 date with her.

The natures are so different that these are bound to clash at times. (Sun 24-Cancer, Moon in late Libra, maybe early Scorpio, Mercury 3-Leo, Venus 4-Virgo, Mars 12-Cancer, Jupiter 1-Sagittarius, Saturn 27-Libra, Uranus 5-Sagittarius, Neptune 27-Sagittarius, Pluto 26-Libra, N. Node 24-Gemini)
Several have said Kasey resembles Zac Afron in a way. That just might be because his Moon (maybe… don’t have an exact time for him), Saturn and Pluto are all in late Libra, two of these are definitely at 26-27 degrees, just two degrees off the star’s Sun sign. Kasey’s Venus is 4 degrees Virgo, the star’s Moon is 4 degrees Virgo.
As with Chris above, there is some action going on with Desiree’s South Node here, making Kasey somebody she feels she knows already… in a way. Again, it is as if the people screening him must have seen something they thought might be good “therapy” for her. Whether this is just for the time of shooting or continuing post-show in a relationship, I can’t answer that. Don’t know and can’t determine anything at this stage.
In many other aspects, they seem pretty compatible provided she understands he may be more disciplined than she is. Granted, her Capricorn Mars craves sharing discipline with the man she loves. It appears that she relates to Kasey a little more on a mental and structured level, while Zack’s connection with her (listed below) is little more physical and unstructured. With Mars in Capricorn, she has an obsession for micromanaging, discipline and maintaining order in her surroundings… and with other people. No Sean, that broken art piece gag was not funny. The one “danger zone” here is that his Jupiter/Saturn in early Libra is battling with her Sun, so they may be clashing here with some their goals in life. I am guessing his Moon sign is in late Sagittarius, but it could be in early Capricorn… which could cause a bit of trouble here. Then again, it might not since “opposites attract”. However, they seem to share a bunch of Sagittarius signs here. Intriguingly, both he and Kasey have late Libra planets close to her South Node and this hints that both remind her of people in her past… in Chris’ case, some of the feistier ones since he has Mars there.

Several have said Kasey resembles Zac Afron in a way. That just might be because his Moon (maybe… don’t have an exact time for him), Saturn and Pluto are all in late Libra, two of these are definitely at 26-27 degrees, just two degrees off the star’s Sun sign. Kasey’s Venus is 4 degrees Virgo, the star’s Moon is 4 degrees Virgo.
As with Chris above, there is some action going on with Desiree’s South Node here, making Kasey somebody she feels she knows already… in a way. Again, it is as if the people screening him must have seen something they thought might be good “therapy” for her. Whether this is just for the time of shooting or continuing post-show in a relationship, I can’t answer that. Don’t know and can’t determine anything at this stage.
In many other aspects, they seem pretty compatible provided she understands he may be more disciplined than she is. Granted, her Capricorn Mars craves sharing discipline with the man she loves. Oh atem, Fleiss says peculiar stuff every season that makes us poke and prod for answers. There is something about his wording there that I found interesting. Have to double check the timing of that tweet, if it has any significance.
