I also believe that Amanda had every intention of returning the car, only not that second that Josh was demanding or corralled her into.
This scenario above is not new with the Murray clan. It's their go to romantic move, buy a car you have no intention of paying for other than on a month to month basis. That way if the relationship goes sour, you can say give it back now or you are stealing.
Most people do not just go out to buy or lease a car without doing some kind of research on rates/down payments terms etc. No one wants to be under pressure to a car salesman so they can pay an inflated rate.
Josh is an azz. I would put money on it that he told his friends Amanda would NOT give the car back and then of course rather than go get it with the police himself when he can, he sends another woman to do his dirty work. What a wussy BOR.

Surprisingly, Ashley I who had always kind of supported Josh isn't buying it anymore. She retweeted Hayley's tweet saying Josh is an abuser.

Didn't Ashley I tweeted that Josh could play Gaston in Beauty and the Beast? I think Josh thought it was a compliment but I definitely saw it as a diss.

I know. I was so surprised with his statement too. At least Marcus tried to say something nice to Amanda even thiugh he's defending Josh.

I don't think Vinny has a clue to the real truth or Marcus either. They know Josh's story. When you return a leased car before the contract is up, you pay a penalty, which is usually a hefty penalty unless you have a company that deals in taking over leases. Even then for the company to take it over, there is generally a charge. I have to wonder who handled that.
My guess is that car had to go back prior to the next monthly payment being due and that's why BOR was so adamant.
Either way, gentleman he is not. That's the least of it.

Ashley I called Josh a disney prince once despite all the allegations that were out there about him so she needs to keep her trap shut in all this IMO. I'm not with the wave of her and a couple of the others only caring that he's an abuser when it's their friend on the other side of it but was quick to say there's two sides to every story to justify Amanda getting with him in the first place after Andi's book

Yeah, it's obvious Vinny and Marcus have no clue and choose to just believe anything Josh tells them. I'm just disappointed, since I quite likes Vinny in Paradise. Marcus I could never stand and he's done his fair share of throwing an ex under a bus, so idiocy is to be expected from him (IMO). But anyone who's actually paid any attention to Josh's behaviour should give anything he says major side-eye IMO. I guess it's bros before hoes and all that.
