- the friend who introduced Elijah to Nick is Kyle, who @notarose sleuthed during their Lallopalooza days had become fast friends and some rumors have said flat-mates, is schooled filmmaker/photographer/writer ... and "his pack" is the usual "gang" Nick is hanging out with when in LA (unlike reports about him "cruising" with people from BN and associates)
- EW says that Nick has integrity (glad to hear it confirmed) and is honest and genuine ... but I'm pleased to see a friend of Nick having fun of the BS the Bachelor has to sell ... the one we called it TPTB script ... when Nick talks about the relationships with women he never had a romantic bond with ... while complimenting him for the effort of establishing some sort of connection.
- it shows me that true friends (in the spotlight) stick to and support Nick without putting down his current relationship (since I am a firm believer that Nick has a girlfriend/fiancee) ... even with publicly stating that their favorite is Rachel ... by showing support for the new Bachelorette and giving Nick a hand with promoting "his show".
- by believing in Nick's genuine and honest character I can't picture the guy proposing a woman and not thinking about "making it work"... so I can not wait for the show to be over.

Yes, it's well known MF wants the on the spot marriage, and he led viewers to think that during B/L's season.

...but, I think it can happen...I feel like Nick is ready to jump into marriage...so is Vanessa...technically it's been 7 months when they have known each other...some people get married after 2 to 6 months, and the relationship stays strong even after old age... whirlwind romance happens in real time...if the time is right...nothing will go wrong if they are both willing to work it out...hardships will be there, but they could weed it through together...Nick has used the term madly in love in asking for Vanessa's dad blessings...maybe they are at the point wherein they cannot see each other with anybody else...if they want to have kids soon, marriage will be the first step they have in mind...the marriage may bring in more money to support whatever cause they have in mind...they maybe looking at creating a foundation of which Vanessa could focus on...and, that would be hitting 2 birds with 1 stone...

IMO too, got the same feeling watching.
Note, I don't think she (or any other girl) isn't deep "enough" ... but I believe when a person is really into someone and seriously considers the relationship they likely put down defenses and speak honestly from the heart, try to convey as much as possible (I would presume) ... and I don't think he was getting "there" with any of those girl sent home, JMO. It felt superficial, like putting more thought into the appearance rather than content.

And IMO just because a woman dresses "sexy" or enjoys cosmetic enhancements (permanent or just makeup artistry), this does not mean she is doing it primarily to attract the opposite sex. She might just really enjoy it. I personally love playing with makeup. I do it because it's fun.
