This is what RS posted today in readers email. Don't know how true it is though.

From what you know has peter actually been approached by abc to be the next bachelor? Did you ever get confirmation that he was in LA to discuss the bachelor? Also do you know if Eric has been approached because if dean really hasn’t then I doubt Eric would be.
Yes, he has. Yes, I did. Don’t know about Eric.

Travis was such a stick on his season and isn't much better on his show, imo. I'd like Chris Strandburg though.

Likely not going to happen - but I had the thought what if they potentially had Wells as an option for the Bachelor. He will be back in people's screens for BIP as the bartender. Reason I thought of it he is in LA right now - he was with Nick last night. Also some of the girls from BIP were tweeting how they wish "Wells was their bachelor" or something to that effect. Probably won't happen but just another thought.

My own wish would be Alex or someone like Wells. I am not invested in Peter/Brian and I love Eric but I think he is too good for the show.

IMO CH was trying to hint at the possibility so Wells could totally snag the next lead spot. He's a cutie.

I would very much like to see Wells as the Bachelor. He's 31 or 32 I believe. IMO, he is smart, witty and kind. He talks for a living on the radio (real job!) so he would be a good conversationalist. He appears to me a bit self deprecating which would be nice, humble. I'm waiting to see, maybe it could be.

I agree I would love it to be Wells. He is articulate, smart, and has tons of personality.
