Bachelorette 13 - Rachel Lindsay - General Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers* - #2

It may be just me, but I'm not sure how much "face value" to take Rachel's words at in her interviews. If there was in fact "a plan" to create Peter and Bryan confusion, she could be describing one person one minute, and another person the next. Throw in editing and then it becomes even more confusing on whether what is being shown really confirms what she said in her interviews about either guy. I think it will shape up that she really liked both Peter and Bryan, and that something distinguished it for her in the end.

And so many thought this was going to be a boring season haha

That was just her repeating what the interviewer said, but she had initially said she didn't know who it would be on night one, when he coming out of the limo. That's what made me not go full on foiler theory, because if it is Bryan, she likely did know from the start. It's possible that she really liked Bryan from the start, but then going a month without a date with him and possibly even the sloppy seconds comment made her start to fall more for Peter, but she ultimately went back to Bryan? I don't know, but I will say that this possible spoiler makes the season a lot more interesting to watch! IMO.

Well then ERIC is the winner.  IMHO


I am gonna stick in the general thread but will read all. I know my source was upset about what RS said and check this morning again and said Peter won. Everything is up in the air.

@Miyala ... I took the "slow burn" to mean Peter as I saw a genuine connection forming but nothing too explosive wheras Bryan came out guns blazing with his kisses "sweeping her off her feet" and starting off with a FIR bang...

@BachIsMyGuiltyPleasure I am gonna stick in this thread with you, and visit Peter ever so often, because this is general and I dont want to get heated and be ban

But Bryan doesn't get a 1:1 until episode 5 so, it really could be a slow burn as in getting to really spend lots of time and truly have a lot of conversation and getting to know him.  Sure they get SQT together each week, but that doesn't compare to the length of time spent together on a 1:1.

@Bach/ette Ha ha I was going to say Bryan was chasing her in his Miami Mack ways but I thought I would be kinder.

@GuardianAngel  Taking Peter on the first date after she expressed interest in him out of the limo. Taking her dog with them to see how they got along. Taking Peter in a small private jet in which she  admittedly was afraid to fly in and getting comfort from Peter while in the air. Tilting her head up for that 1st kiss. I think she was doing some chasing. ALL my opinion of course.

Ok to me that's not chasing. Chasing to me is looking for the contestant, wanting a lone time. Asking judgy questions, asking questions that the lead needs reassurance, but JMO's.

Nobody is spared in this show. If Bryan is truly F1, IMO, their plan was to give him the player vibe role. And if Peter is F1, again they are distracting us from seeing a true love story. I was so ready to sit back and watch it unfold. Now I'm so confused. This is probably why it's so hard for couples to succeed after the show. Can't imagine this part is an easy ride. All IMO.
