It has zero to do with being popular imo. They're the most recent couple thus their general discussion thread has the most activity. It's happened every season since I've been a member here. When the next season starts and there's a new couple, the same thing will happen to them. Jmo.

IIRC Lauren B. was body-shamed relentlessly over her weight, cheek (facial) size, lips, etc. Catherine has stated she has lingering confidence issues from childhood body shaming. How sad and unnecessary. All three are beautiful women IMO.
I’m hoping she already knows she does not need any work done. She is flawless to me too! I’m sure Arie reminds her of that every day as well.

A popular (or busy) forum thread doesn't correlate to a couples likability but may correlate to their polarization of opinions among fans of the show. IMO Arie and Lauren's behavior has been so ridiculous that it helps to belong to a group that can share and appreciate the snark or disgust or both depending on what stupid interview, activity or SM posting comes along!

JMO, I would call them polarizing. Posters seem to have very strong feelings and reactions to this couple be it positive or negative. I do think it will die down once Becca's season starts, but I think it will take a while for the reaction to this couple to mellow. JMO.
