She did say though that they encouraged him to grow his hair/beard in the lead up to the show and wear glasses rather than contacts until after the Makeover Episode (which I confess is always my favourite part of any season )

IMO being a nerd is way more trendy/acceptable these days than when this show started (2009?) so there is a danger some faux geeks might try to sneak in, but the producers did a great job at casting the past seasons so fingers crossed.

@GuardianAngel Could we perhaps get a thread for this?  It's airing in 2021.  Also could we please get a thread for BiP AU Season 4?

Beauty and the Geek Australia is coming to our screens in 2021!

Big-hearted beauties and geeky guys will pair up to compete for a big cash prize. There are challenges in each episode testing the beauties on primarily academic subjects and another that has the geeks competing in a more popular social realm. The winners of the challenges select two teams to compete against each other in an elimination quiz. The team with the least correct answers is eliminated.

The last teams standing battle it out for the cash prize and the coveted title of Beauty and the Geek champions 2021.

What we're looking for:

Single Beauties and Geeks between the ages of 18 - 35
People who are happy to be on camera
People who are up for some fun

What happens from here?

Once you've submitted your application, you could receive a phone call from our casting department. They will want to conduct a phone chat to get to know a little more about you. Please note. not all applicants will be contacted by our casting department.

Filming Dates

If selected to appear on the show you must be available for up to 7 weeks between Mid January – Early March, 2021.

ONLINE APPLICATION

The application is split into a series of questions and will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.

You must fill in your application form yourself. You must read through and agree to all the Terms & Conditions and give consent for your involvement in the series.

Please remember:

You must be over 18 years of age.

You need to provide 2 clear photos of yourself. One with your face visible and the other a full body shot ready to upload as part of the application. This photo must be less than 500Kb, and can be resized at http://picresize.com if required.

You must also upload a video of yourself explaining why you would be an ideal candidate for the show.

You must be available and able to commit to all the filming days required, as outlined above and agree to the Terms & Conditions.

The closing date for applications is 16th November 2020.

You will only hear from the Casting Team if we think you may be a suitable to proceed to the next stage of the casting process.

Once you have registered, you may return at any time before the closing date to complete your application. Make sure you record your login details in order to re-access your application form. Your application will only be submitted once you have agreed to the terms and conditions.
