I’ve got to mention: I tried beginner surfing at Sentosa, that island theme park in Singapore where Tayshia and Colton spent their 1-on-1. Going into it, I thought I’d be decent given my lifetime of snowboarding, but NOPE. I looked exactly like Colton in the .GIF above. So lest you think I’m making fun of him, I assure you I’m Iaughing WITH him.

During Cassie’s conversation with her sister, there’s a fantastic meta moment where Cassie recognizes and points out how strange it is to be saying (and to hear herself saying) that she might be falling in love. I also included the next sentence so we can all collectively ridicule the absurdity of a world in which telling someone the L-word is basically synonymous with “put a ring on it”…

And let’s not forget: Cassie is 23 YEARS OLD. How crazy is it that a 23-year old is afraid to tell a guy how she feels because it automatically means she may get proposed to in a matter of weeks, whether she likes it or not? This show, you guys, this show…#SMH

Finally, Colton tries out the Fatherly Blessing speech on Cassie’s dad, Matt, and I just had to point out how terribly worded it is (yet somehow differently terribly worded than that other terribly worded Fatherly Blessing speech) …

I’m sorry, but no father in his right mind could possibly be moved (in a good way) by this. You assume a question like this should come from a serious, sincere place, but with this wording, it couldn’t sound less formal, less confident, or less committal. Now, I don’t really have a strong opinion on Matt shooting Colton down (I do think this moment is more about trusting you raised your daughter to have good judgment, à la Desmond and Tayshia). But I have to admit, if I were in his position and some dude dating my daughter—while very publicly still dating 3 other girls—asked me for my blessing with the above sentence…. Well, I’m not sure I wouldn’t have relished shooting him down, either.

ROSE CEREMONY

It’d be impossible to not touch on that Rose Ceremony moment. You know the one. After Colton calls Tayshia’s name, Caelynn and Cassie realize it’s between the two of them and they look at each other. Caelynn whispers “This is BS”, but my personal favorite part is easily Colton catching it and looking like he wants to crawl into a hole and die…

How many contestants would even think of that? I really like her perspicacity and integrity. Matt shouldn’t worry so much.

Thanks for posting this I couldn't make out what she said in this clip. Colton said there's alot of muffling in this weeks show so we'll have to listen closely.

How many contestants would even consider that? I really like her integrity and how apprehensive she is at her young age. Matt shouldn’t worry so much.

Perhaps things took a turn at hometowns, or Steve had incorrect information all along.

. The ATFR entrance and their first date might be really memorable for Becca, and that early connection probably kept intact and has grown throughout the season. Who knows he might just be her best friend (turned to lover) along the journey

I have observed RS's F1 spoilers for years now. I found that for Bach, he can nail it almost every season, while for Ette, his F1 spoilers often sucks when :
-there were curve balls along the way. eg. Brooks and Franks removed themselves on Des and Ali' season. (on Des's RS even pegged Zak instead of Drew in the F3, initially #SMH)
-there was a close race between F1 vs F2. eg. Rachel,between the FIR vs First Date> happening again this season IMO.

Anyway back to Blake. Maybe i am weird, but i can't shake the pic of them in towel on episode 7 BTS off camera. SCMIIW, to my little knowledge of BTS stuff, the towel pic appears as when the camera already stopped rolling, and they were about to say goodbye to get dolled up for the night portion of the date separately. It stood out to me bc GF seems to managed to snuggle in for the last kiss (with Blake still holding the water bottle

) . That is huge in my book considering MeAndi and JPG were sucking face on camera all the time only to play video game or something/snorring (?) off camera in the FS

. Also, its huge because, well, it wasn't like she had to say goodbye to him after the date was over....i mean, they would meet up again sometime later in the evening LOL. There goes to show that the intimacy and connection was already there on their second 1:1 date regardless the cameras IMO.

Also, Blake is basically Becca herself on TSG* season, as in the first date recipient. I am sure she can relate well to Blake's feeling and struggles as she has been in his shoes. I do get an impression that TSG has taken Becca's confident all along for granted. Given how TSG's season ended, i can imagine Becca doing the opposite by totally appreciating Blake's standing by her side throughout the journey.

Added to that them both IMO have high compatibility :both majored in communication, are in marketing world (?), seems into music, seem to share the same sense of humor, dog lovers, and very close to their families ..So..its not that hard for me to imagine Blake is her F1 and even if its him all along for that matter

Interesting to note that TPTB switch things up this season regarding the F1. What a wasted famous 5-7 epi dates on Colton IMO

. The last time i checked, the epi 5-7 dates trend began on Em season by 1F, breaking the 3-7 dates trend before him. Plus, he was also not the typical F1 either IMO, judging by his puffy hair and juvenile entrance...

. Super amusing to me to realize that both Emily and Becca are former F1s .So..maybe..we will get another puffy hair F1 with the cheesy horsey entrance who can triumph the first date curse this season. We'll see. TWT.

I say, if Peter likes to gossip, he should own it. If he likes to throw shade once in a while, own it as well. I would respect him more if he doesn't throw out hypocritical comments here and there afterwards. It makes the whole thing a joke. JMO.

I don't know why there's a need for tit for tat. Even if you do believe that the squad has issues, it doesn't make Peter's behaviors and words okay. Two wrongs don't make a right and two people/groups can have problemantic behavior. And, as far as I can remember, Rachel never mocked someone based on their looks or geographical location. Like or dislike her, her reactions were to people's actions and words not stereotypes about where they came from or petty comments about their looks. And, that's actually what Peter was telling others not to do. IMO.
