Nonina, I am so sorry about your pipes, that kind of stress takes a toll.

I might have to try to catch after buzz. I still love Brooks. This season has made me appreciate how he handled the foiler summer. Even Des and Chris too.

I didn't watch Des's season, but he's great on After Buzz. He's really funny, insightful, and fair to all of the contestants. He's definitely been my favorite person from the franchise that they've had on.

You should go back and watch. If you like Nick, I think you will like Brooks. And Chris Sigried really was Prince Charming, just FF through the poetry.

Hi All, I still check this board.  I have taped afterbuzz, but haven't been able to catch up.  Crazy weather here in Pa.  My son not feeling the weather too good.  It's either hazy, hot, humid, or rainy.  So his whole body hurts.  I can't wait for fall, he does much better in the fall .  
Just wanted to let you all know, I still come on here when I can.  I'm trying to get my son to Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton this year, as his favorite player Jerome "The Bus" Bettis is being inducted.  I hope the weather cooperates.  Have a great rest of summer.

Fair enough. Brooks is a follow his own tune guy too. They are similar in that to me.

Forgive me for hating you for a moment. We have been hovering around 100 with 95% humidity everyday. I moved to this area from Texas in 2001 and grew up in South Florida, so I have never complained about the summer heat here, but I am whining like a three year old whose lolly pop feel in the dirt this summer. My boss brought three extra students in out teeny, tiny lab space this summer, so I have been working overnights to have space. It is still in the 90s at midnight!

I'll probably get stoned for this, but I actually couldn't make it through the first two episodes of that season. I found Des a bit...boring? I did watch the finale and thought that was the most romantic, genuine proposal I've seen in this franchise.

Brooks does kind of remind me of Nick, in that they both stand out from the stereotypical Bachelor contestant - they are both kind of dorky and have a unique sense of humor. I did see him on BIP and really liked him.
