Ashley S lives in NYC - correct? Then Ashley H could well be following through on Ashley S's tweet about meeting her BFF this weekend.

J.P. being in NYC does not mean he is in the same neighborhood unless you know that he lives somewhere near 84th and 3rd.

Could be an accidental red herring...or, if he is F1, a secret meet could be arranged - in disguise :con1:

Have they ever had a couple who lived so close to each other before (other than the fake couple of Travis and Sarah)? It's very easy for Ashley to get to NYC and if she has friends there, or other interests, the producers can't tell her to avoid traveling there on her own, as long as it has nothing to do with JP. That said, it would be pretty easy for them (TPTB) to arrange a secret rendezvous for the two, even for a few hours and on short notice, at a rented apartment in NYC without anyone finding out. So who knows?

They are not sequestered the entire time and can only see each other at the appointed place at the appointed time. It may not even be in NY. They may meet in LA someplace. They cannot be seen in public together even in disguises. The crazy part about this show is that they go back to their "regular" lives and act "normal" until the show is over. I believe there is a 5mil lawsuit if they get caught doing otherwise.

Well if we are to believe what the media is saying, that they are having alot of date nights, maybe they have set up a safe house close to them so they can see each other more frequently. Maybe for not as long at a time, but more often. IMO it would sure make it easier for them being so close together.

They cannot have public "date nights" so if they have a safehouse someplace between Philadelphia and NYC, that could work. How would the media know? Despite the spoilers, the handling after the taping is top secret. Back in the day, the couple didn't get to even see each other until ATFR. Then they decided that the odds would be better if they at least set up dates.

I know Ali wore a disguise. She was with a handler as well.

Oh I know they can't have public dates, and I take most of that kind of media with a grain of salt. I was just wondering if maybe they had a safe house close to them instead of LA so it would be easier for them to spend more time with each other. Maybe I am just being naive hoping that TPTB learned a lesson from last time and are supporting this couple this time around.

There would not be a safe house within 500 miles of where either lives. They are not meeting in NYC and they always have handlers involved.

Well, if TPTB are so worried, I'm surprised they didn't tell Ashley should could not visit NYC cause JP lives there. Since the disaster last year, TPTB want a couple who really are in love and engaged at the AFRC. Nothing is set in stone, things can change. So unless somone on here is with production and knows nothing has changed the way they handle the lead and F1 post show, anything is possible. Maybe even TPTB learned from their mistakes. jmo

I think we all know they cannot have public dates or be seen together in public. But they do use disguises to travel to see each other. We don't know where they are seeing each other. i.e. what is being used as a safehouse with both on east coast. Of course, they won't be seen together in NYC out and about. lol
