Poor Vanessa laugh out loud

I used to get sea sick on a sail boat. If anyone came near me, I'd freak. Don't touch me! Nick is rubbing her gently trying to comfort her. That would do it for me. laugh out loud

It's the worst feeling, awful. As soon as I stepped on land, it immediately went away.

Do we know what they did after that?

I'm with you GA. I can't bear to have anyone touch me or hover when I am nauseous like that. Ugh.

Sorry, I stepped out for a bit. I see that someone answered but I'll add a few of my thoughts. I think Nick let's his guard down pretty quickly in the upcoming episodes. IMO, the big soft hearted Nick begins to play out with more than Vanessa. I think their journey will resemble playing with a yo yo. Why? It seems Vanessa if I am to believe spoilers is not part of the clique that includes the other F4. 3 against 1 gets to you after awhile when you have no outlet. Just guessing, I'm not sure Vanessa understands his choices for F4. :pout

Once they reach Finland, I expect to see the story build again. Is their one final obstacle? We'll see. I am expecting quite a few heartfelt moments at FRC. I'll hang on just for that! To see her return his emotions, yes it was worth my very long wait!

Is she the obvious FIR Rachel who is obviously shown in Finland? Is she the less obvious Raven who met Bella and took some time to see (obscured in the Finland pic). Or is she the one he never saw coming?
2 is "she" in love with him? So far we see clips of Vanessa having doubts and some ITM doubt statements by Raven.
3 yes to a future proposal, or a proposal at the FRC? Nick saying it's the experience. A journey ends while experiences continue throughout life so I take his words to be far more optimistic as to the outcome of the show. Uncertain if a proposal happens in the typical timeline.

As to CH and his comment about Nick "showing up" , I think that means Nick was reminded that he would have to be more vulnerable sooner than might have been in his comfort zone toward those he was truly interested in, that it wasn't enough to just let the women take the lead so he could get to know them. He would have to let them get to know him.

Or could it be that he has shown vulnerability to one woman only - obvious in those in the Vanessa dates - but he needs to be vulnerable to more than 1, in case "she" leaves.

@Kashathediva gum chewing could be for the same reason as some people use it for take off/landing or when rapidly adjusting to altitude change in a vehicle. It keeps your ear drums from acting funny.

Omg poor thing laugh out loud

..I could not take someone touching me though when I feel sick like that, I don't want anyone hovering around me haha just leave me alone to puke & get it over with laugh out loud

However, look at that chemistry..good lord Nick is glowing, & the way he grabbed her & kissed her when she first arrived then moved his face into her hair & neck seems like they are way closer than only first 1 on 1 date wow!

Oh wow! Now I wish we could have seen their moments together leading up to their first 1:1 date. Seems like they're VERY comfortable around each other. I do wonder if their alone time during that photoshoot group date and the cocktail party was their very first kiss. I already think the way Nick kisses and looks at Vanessa is very different from the other women. It's the same Nick from both Andi and Kaitlyn's season. The Nick kissing the other women is the Nick from BIP. Of course this could very well change by the time he's with the F3-F1. JMO

I like that the edit doesn't have a music soundtrack of sweeping violins and relies completely on the images to convey the intimacy.

It really shouldn't be surprising that Nick and Vanessa have this much chemistry and intimacy already on their 1 on 1. I said this after the premiere but in my opinion, that two second look those two shared before Corinne interrupted was one of the hottest things I've seen on this show in many seasons and they didn't kiss.

They literally just stared at each other like they were both blown away by whatever they were feeling in that moment. So yeah, not surprising things seemed to progress as quickly as it did. It does suck though that the producers have short changed their scenes and fans seeing the love story in favor of the Corinne/Liz mess. But it is to be expected with this show. Hopefully we get a lot of their 1 on 1 this week and less Corinne (not holding my breath though...)
